The only time in Mao Zedong's life, he carried a coffin and buried his comrades and enjoyed the honor. His name is Zhang Hao .

Zhang Hao was born in Huanggang, Hubei in 1897. His real name is Lin Zuopei. He participated in the revolutionary pseudonym Zhang Hao.

10 years older than Lin Biao and is Lin Biao's cousin. It can be said that Lin Biao's subsequent achievements were largely influenced by Zhang Hao. Even Zhang Hao helped him to be admitted to , Whampoa Military Academy, .

Because Zhang Hao ranks eighth in the Lin family, Lin Biao called him the starling brother. The two have a close relationship. In modern history, or in film and television dramas, few people can see through him because of Lin Biao's personality, but the starling brother knows Lin Biao quite well.

The legendary figure I want to talk about today is Zhang Hao.

1 In August 2020, the Communist Party of China was established in Shanghai. This was the earliest organization of the Communist Party of China, but we generally believe that China's founding day was July 23, 1921.

said this is mainly to highlight Zhang Hao's qualifications.

Zhang Hao joined the party in 1922 and was the core figure at that time. Because of his outstanding ability, he did everything for the people and was deeply loved.

It can be said that in the early activities of the Party, Zhang Hao had a huge influence.

1924, Zhang Hao gave a wonderful speech in Anyuan against tens of thousands of people, making the workers realize the importance of the party;

1925, Zhang Hao went to Shanghai to organize work in the Prefectural Committee;

1927, Zhang Hao was ordered to go to Changsha to rebuild the Hunan Provincial Committee;

1928, he went to Anyuan again to form the Transportation Bureau and lead the people's uprising;

From these experiences, the difficulty was quite high, because he had no experience at the time. Simply put, what he did was something that no one had done before, and the success rate was extremely low, but he still succeeded.

Every success he succeeded was not accidental. Faced with the suppression of warlords in Hunan and Jiangxi, he turned into a monk and hid in the temple.

Eat vegetarian food with other monks and chant Buddha's name. During the day, follow them to carry water, chop wood and farm, and go down the mountain alone to move around at night.

Those monks once thought that Zhang Hao was a real monk.

But there are also bad people in the monk. Zhang Hao was discovered and reported to him by a monk during his activities. Fortunately, Ming Dayi, the host in the temple, ignored his safety and protected Zhang Hao, but he was brutally killed.

After Zhang Hao escaped from danger, he begged for life along the way. It was not because he had no ability to survive, but to avoid the enemy's arrest.

After going through all kinds of difficulties, we finally found the party organization.

After returning to work, he accidentally learned that the host in the temple had bought him time to escape, and he refused to reveal a word about himself.

sacrificed to cover up himself, which had a great impact on himself, and it reached the depths of his heart, so the name Zhang Hao was born.

Because the host in the temple was named Zhang Zhonghua, his life was continued because of him, so he changed his surname to Zhang and Hao. Hao represents the torrent of revolution, and one day it will be vast and unstoppable!

and even in the subsequent revolution, every time he needed a pseudonym, he used more than a dozen pseudonyms, but without exception, the surname was Zhang.

has been locked by the enemy because of frequent activities.

Zhang Hao was arrested in 1930 and suffered various tortures during this period. He has basically suffered torture torture you have seen in film and television dramas.

The enemy saw that he was dying and did not reveal a word, and once thought he was mentally abnormal.

That's it. The enemy felt relieved to take care of him, and the party organization rescued him as soon as possible. After

, Zhang Hao served as a member of the Standing Committee of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and also went to the Soviet Union on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and talked with Stalin many times.

Stalin called him a great revolutionary warrior.

11935, Zhang Hao participated in the drafting of the famous "August 1 Declaration", in order to bring the content of the Seventh Congress of the Communist International and the "August 1 Declaration" back to China.

He crossed mountains and wading in the water, and wading in the open air all the way. It took him a whole month to arrive at Wayaobao .

It is the information he brought to lay the ideological foundation for our party’s strategy to establish an anti-Japanese united front.

What he brings is direction. An organization or a person needs to have goals and directions when doing anything. Zhang Hao’s role is self-evident.

Not every direction is recognized.

Zhang Guotao did not implement the Central Committee's route to the north, but instead served as chairman. In order to convince Zhang Guotao, Zhang Hao sent him several telegrams to convey the opinions of the Communist International several times, and stated that the Communist International completely unifies the political line of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

It is obvious that you, Zhang Guotao, don’t be obsessed with it anymore.

Under Zhang Hao's frequent telegram "attacks", Zhang Guotao agreed to go north, but he only agreed on the surface, but in the end he still went to the path of no return.

1937, the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out in full swing, and the Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated for the second time to establish the Anti-Japanese National United Front . The central government also adapted Red Army into the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, with three divisions under its jurisdiction, namely 115 Division , 120th Division, and 129th Division.

Among them, Zhang Hao served as the political commissar of the 129th Division, and Lin Biao happened to be the commander of the 115th Division. Unfortunately, Lin Yunan (the same great-grandfather as Zhang Hao) had already died.

At that time, Lin Yuying (Zhang Hao), Lin Yunan and Lin Biao (Lin Yurong), were called the three brothers of the Lin family.

So Chairman Mao also smiled and said: If Lin Yunan is still there, all three teachers will be conquered by your Lin family.

. Among these three divisions, the 129th Division was the most difficult to work, because the division's foundation was Red Fourth Front Army , which was greatly influenced by Zhang Guotao, and most of the cadres' thoughts were not unified; secondly, the Red Fourth Front Army used to fight bad wars and major battles, and was good at positional offense and positional defense.

Now they are fighting guerrilla warfare, and it is difficult for cadres and soldiers to adapt, which makes Zhang Hao's work extremely difficult.

But Zhang Hao finally built the 129th Division into a lion unit with his unique leadership charm and noble style through continuous ideological work.

can work all year round and suffer great mental pressure, but it still knocked him down.

Zhang Hao always held a meeting with a sick body and often fainted at the meeting. Seeing that his condition was serious, the organization suggested that he go to Yan'an for treatment. Deng Xiaoping was the political commissar, which was later called "Liu and Deng Dajun". If Zhang Hao was not in a state of illness, he would probably be called "Liu and Zhang Dajun".

Even when he arrived in Yan'an, Zhang Hao did not stop. During his recovery, he founded the Anwubao Youth Training Class Staff Brigade and Yan'an Workers' School. Real and capable people will shine wherever they go.

Just the condition worsened day by day, Mao Zedong was very worried. You should know that Zhang Hao is an old-level figure and has a huge influence. The two had known each other for a long time. When they were in Changsha, Zhang Hao helped Mao Zedong a lot. Even in the Jinggangshan base, Zhang Hao never hesitated to support Mao Zedong.

Then, Mao Zedong called Zhu De and discussed sending Zhang Hao to the Soviet Union to treat his illness. Stalin agreed when he learned about it.

But Zhang Hao did not agree. He knew that his condition could not improve. It would be better to use this time to do more things for the party within his ability. This is a Communist.

Mao Zedong could not resist Zhang Hao at that time, so he had to agree and transported some wounded and martyrs' children to the Soviet Union.

and even after Zhang Hao passed away, Mao Zedong was still in grief and blamed himself. He often sighed: If he had insisted on sending him to the Soviet Union for treatment, this might not have been the ending.

1941, Zhang Hao was tortured by illness, but he was still guiding and suggesting work. On January 16 of the same year, he also received news about the Southern Anhui Incident, which made him extremely sad.

But soon his overall situation was revealed. He was worried that the central government would handle this matter too much, so he got up while sick and wrote to Mao Zedong: The current contradiction is mainly the contradiction between world fascism and anti-fascist forces. Japanese imperialism has not driven out of China, and the united front must still be adhered to.

This is the pattern of the big guy!

After Mao Zedong saw it, he immediately held a meeting to show it to others. At that time, many cadres were dissatisfied and were ready to take revenge.

With Zhang Hao’s support, it becomes more persuasive.

Then, Mao Zedong went to Yan'an in person to visit Zhang Hao, and Zhang Hao looked coldly: At such a critical time, what are you, a leader, always doing here!

Later Chairman Mao commented on him: This is a truly far-sighted politician.

Zhang Hao has been in revolution all his life, but he still has regrets in his heart.

1942, Lin Biao grew up rapidly, and Zhang Hao kept seeing it.

When his life was in danger, Zhang Hao still had a regret, so he called Lin Biao and said: Yurong, I have a few words to say to you.

Lin Biao put his ear close to Zhang Hao and heard: "Everyone calls us the three brothers of the Lin family. Yu Nan was the first to participate in the revolution and died first, but he was actually persecuted by Wang Ming . For some reason, I have always been thinking about this in recent days. I have also talked to Chairman Mao, hoping to have a new conclusion on these issues. After my death, I hope you can talk to other central leaders. Although this is the injustice of Yu Nan and others, it is not a personal problem. It is related to the party's line and a big deal."

Lin Biao nodded repeatedly. After

Zhang Hao said again: "I can't see the day when the revolution is victorious. We three brothers in the Lin family, you are the only one who can see victory. You are still young, but I hope you still have to study Marxism hard, and must strengthen your belief in revolution, and carry out the revolution to the end under the leadership of Chairman Mao."

This is also Zhang Hao's last instruction to Lin Biao, and it is an elder brother's expectation for his younger brother.

But many years later, Lin Biao also walked towards the path of no return.

I wonder if Lin Biao listened to the words of the starling brother back then. If he listened to them, it might be another ending.

11942 On March 5, 2019, Zhang Hao felt unwell and hurriedly used his last strength to say, "One day after the 20th year of the revolution, I can't see the day of victory. I'm sorry! After I died, I buried me on Taohualing opposite to Yangjialing . I want to watch the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao every day."

One day later, Zhang Hao passed away, and a large number of leaders of the central government came to pay their respects in person. Li Fuchun, Peng Zhen, Deng Fa and Lin Biao were responsible for presiding over the funeral. Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Ren Bishi, Chen Yun and Ye Jianying took turns to guard him, and many of his subordinates cried bitterly. On the funeral of

html On the day of the funeral on December 9, Mao Zedong insisted on carrying the coffin for him. Zhu De, Ren Bishi, Liu Shaoqi and Xu Teli were all carrying the coffin with him, all of whom were central leaders.

This is the only time in his life when Mao Zedong carried a coffin to bury his comrades. He personally wrote the elegiac couplet "Loyalty for the country, and even if he dies, he will still be glorious." He wrote "Comrade Zhang Hao's Tomb" on the tombstone.

Not only that, tens of thousands of people spontaneously saw Zhang Hao off on the playground outside the gate of the Yan'an Central Party School.

In the history of the party, only Zhang Hao has such an honor.

I would like to commemorate Zhang Hao with this article.
