King of Wu Fuchai spear
In November 1983, in another Chu tomb two kilometers away from the Tomb No. 1 of Wangshan, where the King of Yue Goujian sword was unearthed, a bronze weapon of Wu Fuchai was found. It was shaped like a spear. There were two lines of gold inscriptions on the front of the spear: "King of Wu Fuchai, it acts on itself." The character "Yu" is verified by experts as a spear-shaped weapon. The ridges of the front and back of the King of Wu Fuchai spear were cast with blood on both sides, and the lower ends had finely patterned beast-shaped perforated noses. The casting essence is comparable to the sword of King Goujian of Yue.
The sword of King Goujian of Yue and the spear of King Fuchai of Wu were both unearthed from the tomb of Chu, confirming the once prosperous state of Chu.
