In Lechang , there is a legendary heroine. She is righteous and hates evil and vows to overthrow the evil old society, and has a huge impact in the countryside north of Lechang. She is Lee Youying.

Intimate and kind

Li Youying, female, nicknamed "Zhai Po". 1919 was born in a poor peasant family in Jingkou Aoi Village, Pingshi Town, Lepin County. The mother died early, and the father and daughter depended on each other for life. My father Li Xinshun was a worker on the wooden sailboat upstream of Beijiang in his early years and worked as a porter. Later, due to life, I sold my boats, planted a few hillside land at home, and sold onions, garlic and vegetables. The income was very small, making it difficult to make a living. In the end, I had to make a living by chopping firewood, charcoal and doing odd jobs. I live in poverty. My houses are bare and my house looks particularly empty and cold. In order to relieve the pressure of life, he sometimes hums a few mountain songs and , with a generous heart. However, the idea of dissatisfaction with the dark rule of the old society arose. He has formed a stubborn character of daring to speak out for justice, not afraid of siege, and not afraid of being imprisoned. He listened to revolutionary comrades talking about revolutionary principles, and he understood it quickly, and the revolutionary anger burned quickly and could not sit still. Often, they “get it” by proposing their own straightforward methods. Li Youying has been influenced by her since childhood and has been deeply influenced by revolutionary ideas.

The picture shows a portrait of Li Youying Liang Haoquan.

Due to poor family and no money to go to school, Li Youying followed his father Li Xinshun up the mountain to chop wood and cut weeds since he was a child. When he came back, he was busy helping his father with housework. He developed the virtue of loving labor and tempered his strong will to endure hardships.

Li Youying was full of justice and compassion when she was a child. In the village, some adults will scold their children whenever they encounter disobedience and beat them whenever they try. Li Youying always comes forward to beg adults not to hit them. When she saw the older child bullying the younger child, she also came forward to stop her. She has a deeper relationship with the children in the village, especially those friends who are as miserable as her. Although her family is very poor, she eats poorly, and sometimes she can’t make it easy, as long as she accidentally gets some delicious food at home, she always has to give it to her friends. Sometimes he also helps the frail and sick elderly people in the village to do laundry and cook, and is as close as a family to the masses. For this reason, she is deeply loved and respected by the young and old.

In the old society, the poor were bullied by feudal society, and in her young heart, they developed a resolute and calm personality. Therefore, she hated those powerful families very much, and even more hated feudal ethics. She was very confused about the huge gap between the rich and the poor caused by feudal society and the phenomenon of bullying others. She asked her father: "Why is this society so unfair? Those who farm without food and clothing, and those who are idle all day long dress and eat well?" Her father saw that his daughter was sensible early, and after work, he told her some stories of revolutionary struggles and some simple truths (his father participated in the Xiangnan riot led by Zhu De and Chen Yi in 1928, and believed in the Communist Party), and said to her daughter: "One day the Communist Party will overthrow the rule of feudal society, and we poor people will definitely live a good life." Under her father's education and influence, Li Youying began to have a vague understanding of the revolution and hoped that the Communist Party would arrive as soon as possible.

Focus on revolution, be happy to learn and seek to enter

1931, the Communist Party of China's Hunan Special Committee moved to Pingshi to open up the revolutionary work in the Hunan-Guangdong border area. In the summer of 1932, the Yi (Zhang) Le (Chang) County Committee of the Communist Party of China was established in Zhaitouling, and a revolutionary organization was established to carry out work towards Niulan Chong and Aoi. Her hometown area has become the area where the Communist Party of China Yile County Committee is engaged in activities. Party organizations often send people to this area to mobilize the masses, publicize the masses, and carry out revolutionary work. Li Youying was very happy about the arrival of the revolutionary organization. He often followed his father to listen to the revolutionary principles. He listened very carefully and became more interested. Sometimes he nodded while listening, as if he had some insights. This attracted the attention of the party organization to pay attention to her and pay attention to her changes in her thoughts and her words and deeds. After a period of observation and understanding, I felt that her thoughts were pure and energetic. She was just as upright and kind as her father, and she had a clear distinction between love and hate. She was a good woman who yearned for light and demanded progress. From then on, the party organization listed her as a key training target, and Gu Ziyuan, secretary of the Yile County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, often explained the principles of revolution and carried out ideological education to her. After the training and education of the party organization, her thoughts have progressed rapidly. In 1936, the Yile County Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to develop her and Xiao Ying to join the Communist Youth League organization . At that time, Xiao Ying was worried and hesitant, and did not dare to make a clear statement. Li Youying actively did Xiao Ying's persuasion work and said: "We poor children must have our own opinions. Joining the Progressive Organization is our wish. If we can't decide what path we take, then what are our own opinions?" After Li Youying's persuasion, Xiao Ying finally made up his mind and joined the Communist Youth League organization with Li Youying.

After Li Youying joined the group, she was more strict with herself and her desire to make progress was stronger. She often reports her thoughts to the party organization, carefully study revolutionary principles, and learn cultural knowledge. Xiao Ying was afraid of learning cultural knowledge. Li Youying encouraged her and said, "We rarely read, and we must study hard in the future. I don't believe that those who chop wood and cut grass will learn bad culture." So she and Xiao Ying studied cultural knowledge hard and asked Gu Ziyuan to teach them when they have time. After continuous efforts, Li Youying finally wrote a good regular script , and her cultural level has been greatly improved. She said happily: "People who chop wood and cut grass can also learn good culture." Especially after engaging in revolutionary activities, they usually study culture more hard, and they are obsessed with learning literacy. Later, Mengge (i.e., fill in the characters) have a lot of strokes, and then wrote on her back and gave it to Gu Ziyuan to read. Finally, she was able to write a traditional Chinese character regular script . She was very happy and realized the ambition of illiteracy who chop wood and cut grass to learn culture.

witty and bravery, not afraid of danger

Li Youying is enthusiastic about the revolutionary cause, is smart and brave in fighting against the enemy, not afraid of danger, and shows the noble qualities of a revolutionary. She never bargains the price when it comes to the work assigned by the organization, and does it just by saying that. Whenever the party organization sends her to Pingshi and enter Yizhang to spy on enemy situations, contact traffic, and buy urgent supplies from the guerrillas, she always completes her tasks excellently. If she encounters special circumstances and it is difficult to complete the tasks assigned by the party organization, she will be strict with herself and take the initiative to review and demand punishment. Once, the party organization sent her to Pingshi with another comrade to Pingshi to detect the enemy situation. Because the man did not arrive at Pingshi in time, it affected the completion of the mission. She was very sad. Her father knew that his daughter had not completed the mission, so he found the reason for her, encouraged her to improve her courage, and fight the enemy wisely and bravely. The second time, the party organization sent her to Pingshi alone to reconnaissance the enemy situation. She happily accepted the task, dressed up as a small vendor, and sold it along the street. Later, she was discovered and followed by the enemy. She witfully dealt with the enemy, ran around, and finally got rid of her "tail", also found out the enemy situation in Pingshi, and reported to the party organization in a timely manner, and was praised by Gu Ziyuan, Secretary of the Yile County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China.

11936, in Aoi Village where Gu Ziyuan lives, he was learned by a traitor named "Daipo", Tang Jinying and Chen Ying, and reported to the enemies in Hunan. One night, the enemy surrounded Aoji Village and searched house by house. At that time, Gu Ziyuan had just fallen asleep at Qiu Huizhen's house, and the enemy's short gun team had arrived at the door. At this time, Qiu Huizhen's mother Li Fengjiao went to open the door. As soon as the door was opened, the fierce enemy yelled at her to hand over the "Communist bandits" and guns, and the situation was very critical. Seeing this, Li Youying stepped forward to support Li Fengjiao. The two families faced each other, and Li Youying walked out of her own door. The enemy thought that the "Communist bandit" was about to leave, so he hurriedly acted as a fight. When he saw that it was a woman, he forced himself to make a move and pointed a pistol at Li Youying to scare her. But she was not afraid and managed to lure the enemy into her home and divert the enemy's attention. Li Fengjiao understood Li Youying's intention in her heart, and she became wise in a hurry. She pretended to sweep the floor, half-closed the door, and used her body to close the door leaf to block the enemy's sight and let Gu Ziyuan move. Seeing the opportunity, Gu Ziyuan quickly turned into the kitchen building, hid, and prepared to compete with the enemy when he had no choice. The enemy was at Li Youying's house and searched for Gu Ziyuan's hanging bag, which contained Gu Ziyuan's private chapter . When the enemy saw things but not people, he rushed towards Li Youying.Li Youying resisted desperately, but was tied up by the enemy because she was outnumbered. Just as the enemy was committing violence, Li Jiaxuan (also known as Li Qingqing, a comrade who invaded the enemy and was once the company commander of the Red Guerrillas in the border between Hunan and Guangdong) rushed over and used the trick of diversion of the tiger and leaving the mountain to lead the enemy to Shangliao, thus saving Li Youying. Li Fengjiao looked around the village and saw that the enemy had indeed left, so she asked Gu Ziyuan to go downstairs to move. With the witty and brave rescue of Li Youying and Li Fengjiao, Gu Ziyuan escaped safely. However, Qiu Huizhen and Wu Jinzhang were both arrested and imprisoned, and were later released on bail through some connections.

The enemy did not catch Guziyuan, and was extremely angry and looted Aoqi Village. Under such a bad situation, some party and league members were shaken and even left the organization. But Li Youying said firmly: "Even if I am the only one left, I have to do it to the end!" After this struggle, her belief in the revolutionary cause became stronger. After that, she followed Gu Ziyuan to the plum blossom area and continued to engage in revolutionary activities. She traveled all over the northern area. Even under the severe white terror of the enemy's joint defense and "clearing down" between the three counties of Leruyi, she was also loyal to the revolution and unshakable. In order to spy on the enemy situation and maintain the uninterrupted traffic between the party organization and various places, she has frequent activities, not afraid of fatigue, and never refuses to suffer difficulties. She walked through Laoye Temple, passed through Jiachang Waterkou, crossed the stone and lake caves, went deep into the pond and ferry to spy on the enemy's situation and conduct traffic contacts. She acts quickly and decisively, is not afraid of danger, and can successfully complete the tasks assigned by the party organization every time.

Deep feelings for comrades and close contact with the masses

Li Youying has a deep revolutionary feeling for comrades. During the years of hard struggle, revolutionary comrades are often injured or sick. Li Youying always takes care of injured or sick comrades, like her relatives. Once, Muziyuan suffered from severe malaria . The conditions were arduous at the time and there was a shortage of doctors and medicine. She went up the mountain to collect herbs to treat the disease, and said that the herbs could cure malaria, which enhanced Muziyuan's confidence in overcoming the disease and caring for the disease with peace of mind. At that time, she lacked quilts. When Gu Ziyuan malaria broke out, she made a fire to keep Gu Ziyuan warm. Gu Ziyuan called tea and water, and she quickly brought it to her. She always responded to her requests and took great care of her. She was called a "good nurse" by everyone.

After Gu Ziyuan's serious illness was inflicted, the enemy situation became more and more serious. The organization decided to turn Gu Ziyuan back to Chen and Yi areas to open up a new work area, and designated Comrade Li Youying, the "good nurse", to go with him. In this way, they set off happily. After a long journey, enduring hunger and cold, she finally arrived at the Li family in Yizhang, Chen County, Linwu , Jiahe , combined with the Doushui Nian Li family in the area of Doushui Nian, and found a party member to go to the Taiwoli and Yangtouzhai area of Qitianling to carry out work. Comrade Ying saw that there were party members everywhere, and the working people and workers everywhere loved the Communist Party and the cadres of the Party. She felt how warm the revolutionary family was and said, "If I had known it, I would have come out long ago."

She became more active, always happily working hard. She used her strengths of loving labor, being able to work, being able to do things, being simple in life, and treating people with sincerity to publicize the masses, organize the masses to participate in learning, and establish party and leagues and various revolutionary mass organizations. Local men, women, young and old love Youying very much.

In the autumn of 1937, Li Youying was introduced by Gu Ziyuan and Li Shuisheng and joined the Communist Party of China gloriously. He participated in the Party's leaders of Chen, Yi, Jia and Linborder Special Zones, and led the masses to fight against local tyrants and fight against counter-counterfeiting. He fought with local Red Guard members and called on comrades to pay attention to safety. The comrades did not find her a new recruit. When Li Youying was about to leave, the lesbian received news that he always led her out to talk and drink oil tea day and night. He and they deeply felt that Comrade Youying contacted the masses and helped others enthusiastically. He helped each other to do housework, burn fire, cook, hold children, carry water, cook vegetables, feed pigs, do things when encountering problems, and is not slack, and never get tired of it.

Work enthusiasm and do your best

In January 1938, the Party Central Committee sent Wang Tao to the Hunan-Guangdong border area to restore the suspended Hunan-Guangdong border special committee, mobilized the Hunan-Guangdong border red guerrillas to go down the mountain, and adapted it into the New Fourth Army to go north to fight against Japan. In the spring of that year, the Hunan Special Committee was officially restored. Li Youying was arranged to work in the special committee in Chenzhou city. Li Youying was very happy when she moved into a larger county town for the first time and her enthusiasm for work became even higher! She bravely shouldered heavy responsibilities, actively led the people of the border areas of the four counties and border areas, and carried out the fight against local tyrants and anti-counterfeiting. She fought with local Red Guards, and wherever she was the most difficult, she appeared wherever she was, showing her fearless spirit of fighting bravely and not afraid of sacrifice.

In April of the same year, the leaders of the Hunan Special Committee sent her to Pingshi, Guitang and Aoqiu areas to carry out work. At first she couldn't bear to part with her and felt that learning culture was more qualified, but the organization had made a decision and she still decided to leave! In October of that year, she returned to the SAR and found Gu Ziyuan to report on the activities of the party organization at home. Some party members were cold to the revolution, and some (such as Li Huo) did not distinguish between us and us. Both good comrades and her were both angry. After Gu Ziyuan's persuasion, she returned to her original place and actively assisted Comrade Xiao Lin, Secretary of the Yile County Working Committee, to restore the Yile Party Organization day and night, and established the Yile Party branches of the Communist Party of China, such as Yile, Yanquanxu, and Yangmeishan in a short period of time.

1939, Li Youying often endured hunger and eventually became ill due to overwork and could not afford to take care of revolutionary comrades. The party organization was ineffective after treatment by many precepts. When the party organization was in its prime, it unfortunately passed away. He was 20 years old at the time.

Gu Ziyuan was deeply saddened and regretted it when he learned that Li Youying had died young. If I could try to keep her by my side to work, this would probably not have happened. But now everything is too late.

1985, when Gu Ziyuan, vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of the United Front Work Department, visited the Congtang again, he personally came to Li Youying's tomb to pay homage. Seeing this scene, Gu Ziyuan couldn't help himself, burst into tears, and excitedly wrote the words " Chinese Communist Party member Comrade Li Youying's Tomb". Instruct relevant departments to engrave it on the stone tablet and respectfully erect it in front of Li Youying's tomb to express their deep nostalgia for the martyrs Li Youying.
