"Boss" is a very interesting title. The first leaders of our party like to use this title to respect each other, and this word often appears in Chairman Mao's mouth.
However, the staff around Chairman Mao once recalled that although many people have been called bosses, among the top ten marshals, there are actually only three who are often called "boss" by Chairman Mao.
These three are the CEOs Zhu De, CEO Peng Dehuai and CEO He Long He who are very familiar to us.
These three marshals met Chairman Mao in their early years and were the best comrades after going through ups and downs. Chairman Mao’s special title to them also reflects that no one can replace the immortal contributions made by the three of them in the process of building the new China.
Jinggang Meeting
General Zhu is the most respected in the party. He participated in the revolution at the age of 22 and joined the China Tongmenghui founded by Sun Yat-sen.
Then, he graduated from Yunnan Martial Arts Hall and joined the military. It is precisely because he participated in the revolution in his early years that he has a high status. Whether it is our party or the Kuomintang, everyone respects him very much.
Originally, General Zhu had a bright future within the Yunnan army, but because he could not stand the warlord disputes, Zhu De resolutely gave up the glory and wealth in front of him and went to Shanghai, trying to find a new path to save the country and the people. The courage of
is beyond the reach of ordinary people.
What cannot be ignored is that Zhu De and others led the Nanchang Uprising .
At that time, our party was at a turning point of life and death, and the enemy massacred Communist Party members.
At this moment, all comrades are in their lives. When this crisis is at a time, Zhu De and others were able to stand up and fire the first shot of the uprising at the top of Nanchang City. This courage is even more admirable.
Zhu Lao is always the founder of Red Army , but compared with other leaders, Zhu De and Chairman Mao met later.
1928, they each led their troops to meet in in Jinggangshan. At that time, one of them was the leader of the Nanchang Uprising and the other was the leader of the Autumn Harvest Uprising.
These two uprisings have a far-reaching impact on China's revolutionary history, but as descendants, we also know that both uprisings were not very smooth and were subjected to a crazy counterattack from the enemy.
In this case, the two teams gathered in Jinggangshan , becoming a scene that opened history.
After meeting Zhu De, Chairman Mao said with emotion:
"Some people say that we have not many people since we met, but you know that Liu Bei was only around Guan Yu and Zhang Fei , and finally divided the world in three parts. The number of our Zhu Mao troops was a little less, but we occupied the truth. With an amazing leader like Comrade Zhu De, our revolution will definitely succeed!"
From then on, "Zhu Mao" became the most famous pair of combinations in the history of our party's revolution.
48, they have been fighting side by side and are the best comrades. Zhu De has also firmly supported Chairman Mao's position.
When there was a disagreement within the party over the decision to go north to fight against Japan, Zhu De said something loud and clear:
"I fully support and agree with Chairman Mao's decision to go north to fight against Japan. Besides, you are not unaware that everyone calls me and Chairman Mao "Zhu Mao". There must be Mao, and there must be Zhu. Mao will not oppose Zhu, and Zhu will not oppose Mao, and Zhu will not separate his family!"
Half-life confidant "Zhu Boss"
Such a story has happened countless times in the 48 years between Zhu De and Chairman Mao.
Chairman Mao was not an authoritative leader from the beginning. Along the way, Chairman Mao has been suspicious because the ideas he proposed were too advanced.
At the beginning, no one believed that the concept of "surrounding the city in the countryside" could succeed. Many people even thought that Chairman Mao was a complete adventurer and always joked about everyone's lives.
At this time, the support of comrades like Zhu De seemed particularly precious.
Since the Red Army period, Zhu De understood that Chairman Mao must be the one who could lead China to victory. Out of this trust, Zhu De almost gave Chairman Mao unconditional support.
Even if President Zhu has higher qualifications within the party, whenever there is a major event, President Zhu still respects Chairman Mao’s opinions very much, and the two became a pair of golden partners within the party.
When I first arrived in Jinggangshan, the situation was very difficult, and the enemy surrounded and intercepted it, and the Red Army company could not guarantee food and clothing. In this case, Zhu De and Chairman Mao almost started from scratch and created an invincible team.
The conditions at that time were harsh. Military leaders like Chairman Mao and Zhu De had to go up the mountain to dig wells and carry food with shoulder poles. It was really nothing to ask for. Moreover, they have to face the enemy's wanted from time to time.
At that time, on the wanted order issued by Chiang Kai-shek, the total number of heads of the two "Zhu Mao" was worth 250,000 oceans.
Although Chairman Mao and President Zhu often used 250,000 oceans of news as jokes later, in that era, Chairman Mao and President Zhu actually faced death at all times. In this case, they had to expand their bases and manage the army. It is conceivable how much pressure was.
Later, the scale of the Red Army became larger and larger. With the development of history, this team changed from the Red Army to the Eighth Route Army and then to the People's Liberation Army. Their growth process was actually the struggle history of Zhu De and Chairman Mao.
During those struggles, the two almost encountered separation from life and death many times, but fortunately, they survived the bloody storm and saw the founding of New China together.
Moreover, no matter how their identity changes, their friendship remains unchanged. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, they are still a good partner.
Because of busy work, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, they could no longer live together day and night like they were in Jinggangshan, but the position of Zhu De, a good comrade in Chairman Mao's heart is irreplaceable.
1975, President Zhu's condition became more and more serious. Although Chairman Mao himself was very ill, he would ask the staff from time to time: "How is President Zhu's health?"
Sometimes, Chairman Mao also sighed: "Zhu Mao... Zhu Mao, there is Zhu first, and then Mao, we two can never be separated."
However, life can never avoid birth, old age, sickness and death. At 3:01 pm on July 6, 1976, President Zhu passed away.
Hua Guofeng told Chairman Mao this news, and Chairman Mao was silent for a long time before trembling and said: "What disease did he get? Why did he leave so quickly?"
. Before President Zhu died, he left a poem, which was written in the poem: Jinggangshan of the year:
111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111"In the past, when we went to Jinggangshan, the revolution was cradle. Thousands of flows returned to the sea, and the surging turbulence... The wind and thunder were in full swing, and the fast horse was whipped again. The whole party was united and dared to climb the dangerous peaks."
"General Peng"
Coincidentally, the deep friendship between President Peng and Chairman Mao was also in the Jinggangshan period.
At that time, shortly after Chairman Mao and Zhu De met, Peng Dehuai also arrived with the trapped Red Fifth Army. They did not go easy on the way. Although they arrived in Jinggangshan, there were still tens of thousands of pursuers following them.
At this time, they are weak and lack of manpower. If these pursuers are surrounded, I am afraid that everyone will be buried here.
In this case, Chairman Mao considered it and decided to let the already very tired Red Fifth Army stay in Jinggangshan, while the other troops went down to deal with it. Peng Dehuai naturally took on this task very solemnly.
Peng Dehuai
But this battle was not done well because a fellow villager was tempted by the Kuomintang's heavy money and actually betrayed the route to the mountain. The Red Fifth Army was also a newcomer and was not prepared. Even though Peng Dehuai tried his best to command, it still led to the loss of Jinggangshan.
After this incident, some people in the Red Five Army were unstable.
But unexpectedly, when Chairman Mao came back and learned about what happened on Jinggangshan, he comforted Peng Dehuai and others and said:
"Victory and defeat are common in military affairs. There are many reasons for losing Jinggangshan, and the responsibility is not yours. Besides, we can take Jinggangshan back!"
Chairman Mao's generous attitude and optimistic spirit infected Peng Dehuai.
From then on, Peng Dehuai understood that Chairman Mao was absolutely incomparable, and the repeated anti-encirclement and suppression victory in Jinggangshan made Peng Dehuai firmly think in his heart. It is absolutely right to follow Chairman Mao!
However, after the failure of the fifth anti-encirclement and suppression, the Red Army had to embark on the road of the Long March . Along the way, there were many difficulties and dangers.
But in the late period of the Long March, Peng Dehuai made a world-famous contribution, which was to block the Ma family cavalry troops who came to pursue the Red Army in Wuqi Town.
Infantry has a very small advantage over cavalry, but under Peng Dehuai's wise command and decision, the once arrogant Ma Family Army was beaten to pieces and ran away with his head in his arms. Our army also seized a lot of horses and supplies from the enemy. The battle of
greatly boosted morale. Chairman Mao was very affirming Peng Dehuai's military command ability. He also wrote a widely circulated poem, including "Who dares to stand up with a sword, only I, General Peng," which is wonderful.
When people later mentioned Peng Dehuai, they couldn't help but think of these two lines of poetry.
was ordered to be in danger
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, General Peng led the soldiers to create bases and fight against the Japanese invaders.
President Peng is very capable, so the organization entrusted him with tough battles, but no matter how difficult the task is,President Peng can always complete it.
Whether it is the Hundred Regiments War during the Anti-Japanese War, or the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea after the founding of the People's Republic of China, there are almost always General Peng in every important battle in history, especially the battle to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.
It was very difficult for us to make this decision to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea. Chairman Mao advocated from the beginning that he must fight this war. If he doesn’t fight, the United States will sooner or later invade our country’s three northeastern provinces .
But this decision caused strong controversy. The reason is very simple. We just founded the country and the people are still in poverty and hunger. We finally took a breath. If we fight again at this time, everyone will feel that they can't bear it.
What is even more worrying is that if we lose this battle, all our previous revolutionary achievements will be wasted!
In this case, it is difficult for Chairman Mao to convince everyone, and he doesn’t even know who to lead the troops to convince the public.
At this time, Peng Dehuai stood up to support the dispatch of troops, which could be said to have brought a timely rain to Chairman Mao.
Peng Dehuai and Chairman Mao have very consistent views on the matter of sending troops to resist U.S. aggression and aiding Korea. Peng Dehuai believes that although we will fight this battle very hard, if we don’t fight, it is equivalent to surrendering.
Therefore, Peng Dehuai not only advocated fighting, but was also willing to lead the volunteer army into North Korea and serve as the commander-in-chief.
This made Chairman Mao feel relieved. At the military meeting, Peng Dehuai also said to everyone very optimistically: "If this war is lost, it is just a few years later to win the War of Liberation."
Later, Peng Dehuai did not disappoint everyone's expectations and won the tough battle against U.S. aggression and aid Korea.
Looking at Peng Dehuai's life, he has made countless military achievements. Since he joined the army for a young age, he has almost never stopped fighting. Every time he wins a battle, China's history will move forward one point.
So, Peng Dehuai naturally deserves the "General Peng" from Chairman Mao.
Starting from scratch
The same friendship between He Longhe and Chairman Mao.
He Long has repeatedly emphasized the role of Chairman Mao in the revolution. He once said: "If we were not led by the Communist Party and Chairman Mao, can we still survive on the earth? The credit is the Communist Party and Chairman Mao."
He Long also said bluntly: "Chairman Mao wants me to do it, and the Party Central Committee wants me to do it, so I will do it!"
Marshal He Long's life is also a legend. The story of two kitchen knives making a revolution is familiar to everyone.
At that time, He Long was only 20 years old. The country is in turmoil and the people are suffering, so he set a lofty ambition to save the country and the people.
He Long
And, He Long is an action faction who dares to think and do. He took two kitchen knives and snatched weapons from the enemy, started his own revolutionary path, and successfully formed a team.
He Long's fame spread throughout the country, and his status in the army was getting higher and higher.
Many people think that He Long is a rough man and a hero in the Green Forest because of the story of two kitchen knives. But looking at it from this way is too shallow. Marshal He Long is rough and thin. He has both the courage as a general and the great wisdom of a commander.
In the early years, when our party was just starting, He Long showed a very friendly attitude towards our party, and then he resolutely joined our party. A military talent like He Long joins the army with the army, of course, plays a huge role.
Later, the Nanchang Uprising failed, Marshal He Long traveled around and finally met with Chairman Mao in the revolutionary base area.
Looking through the history of our party, you will find that the Nanchang Uprising is the beginning of many stories, and Jinggangshan is the turning point of many stories, and the same is true for He Long.
After the establishment of the Red Army, He Long became the leader of the Red 26th Army, made many military achievements and was famous. But it was also because of the failure of the fifth anti-encirclement and suppression, the Red 26th Army also faced an unpredictable fate.
At that time, the Red 26th Army and the Central Red Army were not together. Moreover, the Zunyi Conference was not held at that time, and Chairman Mao’s status as a leader in the party has not yet been established. He Long faced a choice, that is, where should the Red 26th Army go?
Should I follow the Central Red Army to the north, or find another source?
As the leader, He Long made a decisive decision to go north immediately and meet with Chairman Mao and others again.
At that time, the Red 26th Army was facing layers of encirclement and suppression by the enemy. The Central Red Army's Long March was very tragic, and the soldiers were damaged and generals were lost. By the time we arrived in northern Shaanxi, the number of people was less than one-tenth of the previous one.
But the Red 26th Army unexpectedly created a miracle and did not experience large-scale reductions in staff.
On the one hand, this is because the Central Red Army attracted the main firepower, and on the other hand, it is also inseparable from He Long's wise decision-making.
He Long is a natural talent. His command can definitely represent the highest military command art. Even top military strategists like Chairman Mao are praised.
Later, when several teams met, Chairman Mao couldn't help but praise:
"You 2nd and 6th legions are on Wumeng Mountain , not to mention the enemy, even we were confused by you, and we forced you to transfer it out! We paid a big price when we left Guizhou and crossed Wujiang . But the 2nd and 6th legions asked for it. Coincidentally, I didn’t suffer any loss. You 10,000 people came over, but they still 10,000 people did not lose money. It was an amazing miracle. It was a great experience. We must summarize and learn from everyone. "
Immortal merits "Boss He"
What’s a pity is that due to physical reasons, Marshal He Long failed to stick to the front line. During the War of Liberation, He Long silently retreated to the second line. However, this did not dispel Marshal He Long's enthusiasm for work. When he was awarded the title in 1955, Chairman Mao also sighed: "He Long is a good supporting role."
Supporting roles may not be as dazzling as the protagonist, but they are also indispensable characters on the stage.
A marshal's ability is not only reflected in the battlefield, but also in his mind and in every aspect of his work. Marshal He Long is so respected that he is naturally inseparable from his character and ability.
After the founding of the country, Marshal He Long was in charge of the country's Sports Ministry.
This is an emerging department with complex affairs and it is difficult to achieve results. Moreover, it is not eye-catching. However, Marshal He Long took on the task given to him by the country very firmly and made the sports career in the years since the founding of the People's Republic of China prosperous.
New playgrounds have been built in various places, the national sports training industry has begun to take shape, and China has also had a relatively professional sports delegation. All of this is naturally inseparable from the efforts of He Long, the sports minister.
The valuable thing about Marshal He Long is that he can shine and heat when he goes to any position.
Moreover, no matter what the circumstances, He Long unswervingly supported Chairman Mao's decision.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, most people in the Party, regardless of their level or age, were basically called comrades. This is also a tradition left by our Party.
Because Chairman Mao and others think that if you use official titles, it is emphasizing the difference between status and status, and our party does not need such bureaucracy.
However, Chairman Mao prefers to call "the boss" for Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, He Long and others, which is a kind of love name among comrades.
Moreover, it is not only Chairman Mao, but others often call these three marshals the bosses. This is a kind of friendly expression. Over time, names like General Zhu, General Peng, and General He have become a custom.
Many years have passed in a blink of an eye, and people still like to call them "bosses", as if calling themselves an elder. The title
is Chairman Mao’s affirmation of these three founding marshals, and it is also the people’s nostalgia for them.
