I think these two statements are not what "Feng Shen Yanyi" wants to express. In a sense, many statements now say that elucidation is a conspiracy from the beginning to the end, and this conspiracy is to eradicate temptation. That's why there is the Fengshen List. And the ancestor Hongjun who planned all this, come, wait for me to analyze it slowly.
First of all, Jiang Ziya was responsible for the execution from the beginning. He has always been a pawn in Hongjun's Conferred God Plan. And Hongjun said at the beginning that Jiang Ziya is not suitable for being a god. He has cultivated in Yuxu Palace for 40 years and still has no results. He has no Huigen. I don't know what Huigen said. After all, Hongjun has made so many people become immortals and gods. Since he said so, he must have his reason. Then I can see through the entire process of King Wu’s defeating Zhou that although Jiang Ziya possesses a good art of war, he is helpless in many cases and even appears in the face of mythological characters, especially those who intercept the teachings. But every time the mountains and rivers are exhausted, there will be other Da Luo gods who come to help out and help Jiang Ziya through the difficulties. Isn't this a good example of kidding! Just like "Journey to the West", the Buddha and Guanyin had already known the various obstacles that Tang Seng and his disciples would encounter on the way to learn the scriptures. They continued to hone and help him at the same time. In the end, their merits were perfect and ranked Xianban.
Secondly, I think Hongjun deliberately arranged Jiang Ziya to stay in the private sector. Because Jiang Ziya made an indelible contribution to Fengshen, he neither wanted Jiang Ziya to stay with him, nor did he want him to be ineffective, so he arranged him with King Zhou Wen to help him win the world and rule the world. Extremely human ministers also have their own feudal country, and descendants will continue to multiply. The key is to live a long life and live to 139 years old. It is a good ending.
Then what is the sentence "Taigong Jiang is here, the gods abdicated"?
When Jiang Ziya left Yuxu Palace to go down the mountain, in order to protect Jiang Ziya, Hongjun gave him three magic weapons, namely: the magic whip, the apricot flag, and the Sibuxiang. After enshrining the gods, Hongjun thought of his merits, and did not take back the whip. The god whip can hang the gods. Hongjun means to let Jiang Ziya continue to manage the gods on his behalf. When he encounters disobedient, he will directly use the god whip to serve as a supervisor. Everywhere Jiang Ziya went, the local gods had to give way to him. This is the origin of the phrase "Taigong Jiang is here, and the gods abdicated". In fact, there is also a saying that "the king is here and the gods evade".
