Comrade Jiang Zemin is a great man. The important thought of "Three Represents" he founded is a deeper understanding and development of Marxism-Leninism , Mao Zedong Thought, and Deng Xiaoping Theory. It is the guiding ideology that the Party must adhere to for a long time and is a valuable spiritual wealth of the Party and the people.

Comrade Jiang Zemin's life was a glorious and fighting life. There were three major floods in China in the 20th century. In 1998, there were major floods in the Yangtze River . At that time, Comrade Jiang Zemin and many national leaders visited the scene many times to fight floods and disaster relief.

This major flood occurred for two main reasons: 1. In 1998, it encountered a heavy rainfall zone and El Niño phenomenon , which affected the tide, causing the tide to flow back to Nanjing. Floods flow downward in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and sea tides flow backwards below Nanjing, so the floods are blocked in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
2. As a large number of forests were cut down randomly, the degree of damage reached more than 80%, causing soil erosion and a large amount of silt and sand flowed into the Yangtze River, which increased the riverbed and greatly weakened the flood control capacity. These two reasons
caused the major flood in 1998.

The losses caused by the second largest flood at that time were the smallest. Thanks to the concerted efforts of many national leaders such as Jiang Zemin and tens of thousands of military and civilians, they finally defeated this huge flood at the lowest cost.
At that time, Jiang Zemin stood on the embankment, raised his horn, issued a general mobilization order for the decisive battle, shouting at the top of his lungs: We must persevere to the end! Keep fighting! Persist and persist! At the same time, Jiang Zemin issued an order to the People's Liberation Army participating in flood control: all the troops along the route will go to the embankment, the military and civilians will unite, defend and fight to the death, and win a complete victory. At the same time, local party and government cadres at all levels are required to lead the masses and work together with the officers and soldiers of the troops to prevent and defend the Yangtze River main dike. It was this spirit of fearlessness that ultimately overcomes the natural disaster.

Now, the great man has gone far away from us. We will uphold his philosophy, continue to support the leadership of the Party, adhere to development and reform, to comfort his spirit in heaven.
We will always miss you!
