Historical records show that the world's first modern toothbrush was invented by Zhu Youzhang in 1498.

However, Song Zhiwen had severe bad breath, which made him lose the opportunity to climb up. So since then, Song Zhiwen has to brush his teeth more than ten times a day, and he has to hold the fragrance of a chicken tongue when he goes to the hall.
Regarding Song Zhiwen, according to " New Tang Dynasty ", there is another incredible thing:
He has a nephew named Liu Xiyi , which is the one who wrote "The flowers are similar every year, but the people are different every year". After Liu Xiyi's poem was completed, he showed it to Song Zhiwen. Song Zhiwen felt that these two sentences were very good, so he discussed asking Liu Xiyi to give the poem to him.
Liu Xiyi agreed with the alcohol, but later he regretted it, which made Song Zhiwen hold a grudge.
Later, he asked Liu Xiyi to go outside the city and asked his servants to crush Liu Xiyi to death with earthen bags.
There is another saying in historical materials:
Zhang Ruoxu also relies on Zhang Changzong's brothers, but he is ugly, so he is very jealous of Song Zhiwen, so he assassinated Liu Xiyi and blamed Song Zhiwen.
No matter how credible these records are, there is undoubtedly a bad character in Song Zhiwen, which is recorded in official history.
The first year of Shenlong, that is, the first month of 705, Prime Minister Zhang Jianzhi launched the " Shenlong Coup ", and together with Prince Dianshenlang Wang Tongjiao and others forced the Martial Empress to abdicate and killed two Zhangs, and established Zhongzong of Tang as emperor, and the Li Tang Dynasty was officially restored.
Song Zhiwen was demoted to join the army because of his good friend Zhang Yizhi's brothers, but he could not bear the life of the wilderness of Lingnan, so he secretly fled back to Luoyang and hid in his friend Zhang Zhongzhi's home.
One day, Zhang Zhongzhi conspired to kill the treacherous minister Wu Sansi . He was accidentally heard by Song Zhiwen, so he secretly reported to Wu Sansi, and Zhang Zhongzhi's family was killed. Song Zhiwen relied on selling friends to seek honor and was promoted to the chief clerk of the Honglu, which was despised by the world.
In August 712, Li Longji, who had just become emperor, ordered the killing of Song Zhiwen. " New Book of Tang " records: Song Zhiwen "was given to Guilin to death", and his condition was miserable.
So poetry and character are often disproportionate.
As one of the " Ten Friends of the Immortal Sect ", Song Zhiwen's poem is indeed well written, such as the familiar song " Crossing the Han River ":

The general meaning of the poem can be interpreted as:
The distant mountains are vast and the waves are reaching the clouds, and the steaming fog covers the village. The migratory birds returning left claw marks on the beach, and the boats passed by the river, with waves gradually moving away without leaving any traces;
Only when you see the water can you know what flexibility is, and only when you see the mountains can you know that it can block lovesickness. Even though my wish is still not over, the dusk is approaching and I have to turn around.
This is a lyric poem that uses scenery, with beautiful words and novel structure. In the evening, looking at the Jiangting, the distant mountains are simmering, and the village is hidden in the smoke, as if it is a fairyland on earth. Birds flew past the beach, leaving a few rows of footprints, and boats sailed across the river, stirring up waves and then disappeared into the distance. Only when I saw the water splashes calmly did I realize the flexibility of the water. Even if thousands of sails passed by, I still remained unchanged.
The mountains are not the case. They stand tall and can block all lovesickness. As the sun sets, even if you still want to move forward, you can only turn your horse's head and turn around.
The beautiful brushstrokes describe the wonderfulness of nature. They are a beautiful sunset river view, contrasting with the steep mountains, and are even more beautiful and wonderful.
Therefore, Song Zhiwen really starts with poetry and ends with character.
