I don’t know why, I haven’t been able to sing since I was a child, and all the songs I sing are out of tune. I don’t follow my mother at all. When my mother was still alive, she would sing many songs from the old liberated areas. When she got old, she could remember the lyrics clearly and sang them in a precise and precise way, all in tune.

There was no music classroom when I was in elementary school. During the music class, the students brought an organ . The teacher would step on the bottom with her feet and play the keys on it with her hands while accompaniment.

During the final music exam, four students stood in front of the organ and sang a song at the same time. The teacher watched and listened to each student's singing before giving scores. I always stand next to my classmates and sing quietly, even though I can’t hear them. The teacher could only look at the mouth shape, and I always got through by luck. Of course, my score would not be high. Although I didn't fail, it would always be a 3, and even a 4 was rare. Fortunately, the teacher never asked me to sing solo.

After working, we are catching up with the special period of ten years in our country. At that time, I had to sing a revolutionary song before going to work every day. Of course, I was just pretending.

At that time, there was a rule in the unit that if anyone was late, he had to sing a song or dance in front of the Chairman's portrait. For this reason, I arrive at work at least half an hour early every day. Just because I can't sing or dance, it's a big deal.

When I was about to retire, I started dancing ballroom . Listening to dance music , everyone taught and learned from each other, but I couldn't even hear the three-step or four-step music and couldn't tell the difference clearly. Apart from stepping on other people's toes, I learned nothing.

I am retired. In order to exercise and go square dancing with my neighbors, I still stand in the back and do nothing.

Now, I see on the headlines that many elderly friends are good at singing, dancing, and playing various musical instruments. I am really envious of them! I am truly a rotten tree that cannot be carved.
