Blizzard has solved the problem of a player accidentally shopping in the store while chatting in the game using Overwatch 2, but it is said that no refund will be issued to affected people.

As shared by Overwatch reddit section, Dracyoshi reported that while "chatting with some friends while browsing the hero gallery", the game "surprisingly started buying and unlocking Junnker Queen's skins".

Since they were leaving messages in the chat at the time, they could not cancel the purchase until the transaction was completed.

Some people think this is caused by "a bug, and the text entered in the chat is occasionally misunderstood by the game as input to the navigation menu", and Blizzard seems to agree with this, as the problem is now solved.

However, after getting in touch with Blizzard and explaining what happened, the developer refused to return the 300 legacy points, insisting that "all unlocks are the final result", adding that "if you think it's the game's problem that causes it all, be sure to provide feedback through our forum". That's all. The fix released on October 7 seems to have solved the problem, but some players said they still have not been refunded, "doubt that they will never be refunded."

Several other commenters also shared similar stories, and the comment has nearly a thousand likes.

Interestingly, a similar bug affected Fall Guys players earlier this year, and despite Mediatonic's same route, the company was eventually forced to apologize and issue refunds to those affected players.

After the difficult release, Blizzard updated fans on their progress in solving various issues that plagued Overwatch 2.

Many fans were unable to play the game for a long time, were trapped in the team, could not use previously unlocked characters and items, or were completely locked out of the game because of the requirement to log in with your phone (Blizzard made changes to this after being strongly opposed). This problem is further exacerbated by a series of DDoS attacks on game servers.
