Microsoft adds another feature to its already fulfilling PC Game Pass service: the game list now shows the details of how long it takes for a game to complete. Interestingly, this is not limited to the average in terms of data, as it provides four times including based on different gameplay methods.
Microsoft teamed up with HowLongToBeat, a community-driven website dedicated to the length of the game to implement the new PC Game Pass feature. Just select a game in the service and you can see in the details section how much time it will take up.
has four estimated time in the list, and the "Story Mode" is for a few people who like to quickly pass the main campaign/stories without doing anything else, so this style will take the least amount of time.
Next is "Mainline + Extra Content", which adds additional quests/missions, medals and unlocks, etc. to the main story.
"full game", which is obviously the longest, is for those who feel they have to complete a game 100% uncovering everything they can see and do.
is finally "all styles". This takes into account all the gameplay and gives an estimated average time.
can also be clicked on the "View Details" link in the selection Youxihou, which will direct players to the HowLongToBeat website for a more detailed time breakdown and allow users to submit their own actual game time. The website also includes comments and trial notes from the community and critics.
's quick look at Assassin's Creed Odyssey shows that the time for all styles is 91 hours, and interestingly, the main story + extra content of Horizon 5 is displayed as 36 hours and the full game is 101 hours.
Microsoft says that in addition to the new features, the Xbox app for PC is now up to 15% faster and includes fixes to improve its response speed. Additionally, the return speed of search results will be increased by 20%, and the players reported that they had not downloaded or successfully installed have been reduced by nearly half.
