Creepy Silent Hill: Townfall trailer contains more than just eyes (and ears). No Code Studio and Annapurna Interactive hide a message in the audio.
After No Code creative director John McKellen said the trailer contained secrets, Reddit user MilkmanEX extracted the audio and converted it to MP3. View the spectrum of the audio, and the message appears in about 52 seconds.
It turns out that it says "Every heart in this city has stopped." We know very little about the game and we don’t expect to hear any new information by 2023, but this message seems to hint at a basic part of the game. Comments from
Reddit are already full of theory, and many fans think the player’s goal is to save the rest of the city, or at least figure out what’s going on. It seems that the atmosphere of
hidden messages matches the weird trailer posted on the official stream SILENT HILL transmission. In this trailer, a wave of black and white (and finally red) collides in an unsettling atmosphere while slowly zooming into a portable TV asking “Why are you there?”.
fans will continue to explore the secrets hidden in the trailer. As we wait for more information from Annapurna Interactive and No Code Studio, expect new secrets to be dug out.
