Even if they suffer from resistance from adventurers, the hard bodies of these monsters can resist most of their attacks. However, the most terrifying is not the ordinary attacks of the polluters, but the spherical lightning fires fired on adventurers when they retreat, which can cause a major blow to adventurers without lightning resistance.

As a monster that will appear in the later stage of the first scene, polluting monsters usually appear on the second floor of the prison, the cathedral and the 1st-2nd floors of the catacombs. They have a chance to cause lightning damage to the player when their health is 80%-50% of the initial one.

Polluting monster has special ability to throw lightning balls. Because they move slowly and bulky, the polluters prefer sneak attacks and use melee methods to attack adventurers along the way, and when they are injured, they will flee in a hurry and wait for an opportunity to use the lightning ball ability to damage the enemy. Pollution monster is naturally exempt from lightning attribute damage. In hell difficulty, the Polluter monster has the characteristics of lightning resistance.
Different types of polluting monsters
polluting monsters have four different subspecies, namely the disabled monster, the ugly monster, the bitter monster and the curse monster. These subspecies first appeared in the cave passages in the first act in the game. In Nightmare and Hell difficulty, Pollutant Monster and all its subspecies have a 15%-35% chance of causing damage to the lightning attribute when attacking.
