On September 17, the VR version of the landmark FPS game "Half-Life 2" developed by Valve will be launched on the Steam platform. The VR version is created by the well-known MOD team - Source VR MOD Team.

STEPVR recently announced that it will join forces with Source VR MOD Team to connect the VR version of "Half-Life 2" to the first VR in the meta-universe login of STEPVR - Guocheng No. 1 GATES01, allowing players to try it out first.

"Half-Life 2 VR" is a mod that allows players to play this classic game using VR. Players can complete things that are almost impossible in non-VR versions: physically shooting enemies, avoid cover, manually loading guns, and having more forms of interaction with characters and objects in the game.

Players can freely move in the game world, track and kill enemies through STEPVR's omnidirectional motion system, making players more immersive and experience fun that other VR devices cannot feel.

According to reports, players can play 70% of Steam's VR games through STEPVR's Guocheng No. 1 GATES01, such as Alex, Sword and Magic, Soul Fall, VRChat, JobSimulator, etc. In the future, STEPVR and Source VR MOD Team will continue to cooperate to update and launch more works.
