Starting today, players will not be able to purchase "Grand Theft Auto IV" on Steam. Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto IV" is still displayed in the store, but there is no longer a purchase option.
Now players have asked Rockstar, but they have not received an immediate response. At present, many players are speculating about the reason why "GTA4" was removed from Steam. Just in 2018, "GTA 4" deleted a large number of songs from the in-game radio stations due to music copyrights. Things are the same now.
If you have purchased "Grand Theft Auto IV" before, you can still download "GTA 4" now. Players can still buy the digital version of Grand Theft Auto 4 on the Xbox and PlayStation stores, and even the Steam version through sites such as Humble. However, GTA 4 is not available on the recently developed Rockstar Games Launcher, so it can be suspected that this is a platform switcher.
Like the works of the past, "Grand Theft Auto IV" uses a third-person perspective. When walking, players can choose to walk, run, swim, climb, jump, use weapons and fight with bare hands. They can also steal and drive a variety of cars, motorcycles, boats and helicopters. (Same as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Sin City, Sin City Story, Liberty City Story)
It's a pity that "GTA 5" is so good!
