In the previous article I have shared with you the setting of the operation buttons of the universal simulator of the game console, which mainly corresponds to the operation of the simulator. But different game consoles may have different button layouts on the handle. If the default button settings cannot meet our operating habits, can we change the button settings? The answer is of course yes, and different game consoles can set different button settings separately, which is very convenient.
The controller button layout of each host is somewhat different.
The controller buttons of the current game console universal emulator are similar to the PS2 controller.
Our commonly used computer handles have similar layouts, so everyone should be familiar with it.

Next, I will use the handle layout of the Sega Saturn handle to share with you the setting method of the host handle button.
The settings of other host controllers are the same, and so on.
There are six buttons on the right side of the Saturn controller, which is very suitable for playing arcade transplant games, especially games like Street Fighter.
The picture below shows the default handle buttons of the universal game console simulator corresponding to the buttons of the Sega Saturn handle.

Then we start to set the buttons of the host controller according to our own habits.
- Step 1: Open the game.
First open the Sega Saturn game.

Enter the game
- Step 2: Bring up the option menu.
Press F1 on the keyboard or press the key combination on the handle to bring up the option menu.

Step 3: Set the keys of the host handle.
Here we only talk about the main controller, if there are other controllers, please refer to the settings.

In the handle button menu, the figure on the left is the handle button of the universal simulator.

On the right are the buttons of the host controller currently playing.
The picture below shows that the A button on our handle corresponds to the B button on the Sega Saturn handle.

Enter the button setting, select the host button you need.
Here we change the A button on the handle to the C button on the Sega Saturn handle.
Modify the required host buttons
Set all the buttons according to the above method.
Step 4: Save the set host handle buttons.
After all the changes to the handle buttons are completed, we need to save the changes, otherwise we will have to reset the settings next time we enter the game.
Here we choose to save the core custom key file.
In this way, any game played with this core will call the keys we have just modified.
If you only want to save the keys for this game, then choose to save the game custom key files.
Step 5: Have fun playing games.
After modifying the position of the buttons on the host, is it fun to play!
