htmlOn October 9, Shenzhen’s first hydrogen energy industrial park was officially unveiled. Shenzhen will focus on Longgang International Low Carbon City, Longhua Qiuyuling, and Yantian International Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park, and build a municipal hydrogen energy industrial park with complete supporting facilities and distinctive characteristics at a high level and high standards around the key core links of proton exchange membrane and solid oxide fuel cells, and concentrate on building supporting service platforms and infrastructure.

At the end of September, Shanghai's first batch of hydrogen energy fuel cell vehicles were on the road, becoming one of the first cities in China to realize the commercial operation of hydrogen energy vehicles.

Sensitive people may have noticed that among the 34 provincial administrative regions in the country, 29 provinces (cities, autonomous regions) have announced hydrogen-related policies. There are more than 3,900 hydrogen energy-related companies, and more than 20% of them are established within one year.

Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou , Jiaxing , Zhengzhou, Zhangjiakou ...More and more cities are ready to compete for the C position of this hydrogen energy revolution. The wave of

is also spreading from first- and second-tier cities to small county towns. Rugao , Changshu , Zhangjiagang, Nanhai , Dingzhou ... The 18th-tier county towns that I have never heard of are also running blindly on the dream of a 10 billion-level hydrogen energy industry.

When new energy charging cars are at their peak, why are more and more cities starting to deploy the hydrogen energy industry? Is it really impossible to go through the path of pure electric new energy?

Time went back to July this year. In July this year, a rare drought climate occurred in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River , causing the Yangtze River water level to drop sharply. Subsequently, Sichuan Province, the number one province in my country's hydropower production capacity, experienced a shortage of electricity. Friends in Sichuan may still remember the situation of a large number of pure electric new energy vehicle owners queuing up all night to charge in the two months when the electricity was most short of electricity in August and September this year.

Under the dual stimulation of power shortage and high temperature, the most difficult ones are those new energy vehicle owners. Due to the drought, the power generation in Sichuan has dropped sharply, which indirectly affected the Yangtze River Delta region in East China. In order to alleviate the shortage of electricity, many charging stations have had to lower the charging current, and many fast charging charging stations have directly turned into slow charging, which has intensified the charging queue time.

Since then, many voices have begun to appear whether pure electric new energy has energy saving. According to data released by the China Passenger Union, as of June 2022, the national new energy vehicle ownership reached 15 million, and pure electric new energy vehicles exceeded 9 million. Under the new energy trend in the past two years, new energy vehicles are accelerating the popularization. However, various problems have also begun to arise behind the popularity of new energy vehicles.

The range of new energy vehicles does not match the official range of

25% off is the reference standard for the official range and actual range of most new energy vehicles in China. Taking a brand of new energy vehicles as an example, its official range of 530 kilometers is 530 kilometers, but after actual tests, some car owners found that the actual range of the car is only 390 kilometers. After conversion, the actual range of actual range and official range of 35% off, which is also the discount range of the official range and actual range of most new energy vehicles in China.

In the online car-hailing industry, 80% of operating vehicles have basically achieved coverage of new energy vehicles in the southern region. As an operating vehicle, many online car-hailing drivers have reported that the battery life of new energy vehicles will drop by about 20% after the temperature exceeds 35 degrees, and the battery life will drop by about 15% when the temperature is below 10 degrees.

is too hot or too cold, which is the biggest flaw faced by new energy vehicle batteries. For the majority of online car-hailing drivers, although the battery life problem can be solved with recharge, there have been more and more rumors about the "expensive" of new energy vehicles in recent years.

Pure electric new energy vehicles are "expensive"?

In recent years, the news that online car-hailing drivers died suddenly in their cars are almost always with green-branded pure electric new energy vehicles. As a result, more and more online car-hailing drivers have begun to have an association. Pure electric new energy vehicles are "expensive", and many drivers even give evidence in a good manner.

"After driving a tram for a year, 's legs and hair 's basically all gone"

" After driving a tram for a year, the top of the head became bald"

" There is radiation in the tram, which will cause to be infertile and "

, etc. to begin to spread.

So are new energy vehicles really that scary? When the electronic equipment of a car is running, electromagnetic radiation will be generated. Electromagnetic radiation is an electromagnetic phenomenon in the form of a battery wave emitted from the source to space and (or) propagated in space.

When hearing electromagnetic radiation, don’t be scared by professional terms. In fact, the computer, mobile phone signals, printers, TVs and other home appliances we come into contact with in our daily lives will emit electromagnetic radiation. In fact, it is not just pure electric vehicles, but even related electrical appliances on fuel vehicles will emit electromagnetic radiation. If car friends think that the electromagnetic radiation produced by pure electric vehicle batteries and electrical appliances will be greater, it is actually not that exaggerated.

However, after layers of inspection and verification, the battery radiation value of pure electric vehicles is less than the international standard, and some fuel vehicles are even higher. Therefore, pure electric vehicles that have been exposed to have lost hair, baldness, dizziness, etc. after driving for a long time have not been professionally verified.

And in recent years, why do online car-hailing drivers who died suddenly have all died on the tram? The main reasons are as follows:

First, these drivers who died suddenly are basically in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Among these cities, new energy is more popular. Taking Guangzhou and Shenzhen as examples, currently, online car-hailing operating vehicles in Shenzhen have basically achieved more than 95%, so if a driver suddenly falls into the car, it is highly likely that they will be new energy vehicles.

Second, the number of practitioners is far higher in first-tier cities than in second- and third-tier cities. Taking Guangzhou as an example, according to the data released by the Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau, Guangzhou has more than 130,000 licensed online ride-hailing drivers. With such a huge number of practitioners, the probability of dying from illness is naturally higher than that of third- and fourth-tier cities. This is also because we often see that drivers die suddenly in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Is hydrogen energy really going to replace pure electric new energy vehicles? As one of my country's energy strategies, in September 2021, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Energy Bureau and others jointly issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Demonstration Application of Fuel Cell Vehicles".

notification requires that the applicant cities "select cities where outstanding enterprises are located in the industrial chain across the country to join forces", which means that each applicant city can break administrative regional restrictions and form teams as needed. After multiple rounds of expert review, the three urban agglomerations of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong were the first to stand out and were approved in September 2021, and the two urban agglomerations of Henan and Hebei were also approved at the end of 2021.

hydrogen energy does have unique advantages over pure electric new energy vehicles. Since hydrogen is used as fuel, the exhaust gas is only water. In addition, the cost of manufacturing hydrogen is lower than the cost of power generation. Moreover, in terms of range, hydrogen fuel does not have any inconsistent with the actual range and the official range.

However, after the rapid development of pure electric new energy vehicles in recent years, my country's pure electric new energy vehicle technology has ranked among the forefront in the world. In the short term, it will inevitably be a model of using pure electric new energy technology as the development direction and the development of hydrogen energy simultaneously. Moreover, domestic pure electric new energy vehicles are currently at a time of large-scale popularization, and it is impossible to turn to using hydrogen energy to replace pure electric vehicles at this time. Therefore, hydrogen energy is unlikely to replace pure electric new energy vehicles in the short term.

However, as a majority of online car-hailing drivers, whether using pure electric new energy vehicles or using hydrogen fuel vehicles, the model that can reduce driving costs and increase profits is the one that is worth buying.

Currently, the overall freight rate level of the online ride-hailing industry is as low as 1 yuan/km. Only by reducing the cost of use and stabilizing the freight rate is the focus of drivers.
