The construction site was full of busy scenes, with 42 workers sweating on the edge of the dock, and construction processes such as pile hanging, cutting, welding, and punching are in progress in an orderly manner.
According to Lu Gang, project manager of of the construction unit China Communications Tianjin Waterway Bureau Co., Ltd., the old dock expansion project is currently under construction, with a total length of about 293 meters. Workers are carrying out construction of cast-injected pile steel platforms and buried steel casings. Among them, 1,200 square meters of steel platforms have been built and 58 steel casings have been buried to provide platform and support for subsequent cast-injected pile construction processes. "Since the start of construction, the project has reversed the construction period plan under the premise of doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, and provides safety and technical briefings to the on-site construction personnel every day. At present, the safety, quality and progress of the construction site have achieved the expected results. The next step will be to punch the piles and pour concrete. The trading volume of aquatic products has been expanded from 100,000 tons to 280,000 tons, the sheltered anchorage water cover area has increased from 1.4 square kilometers to 3.0 square kilometers, the capacity of moored fishing boats has been expanded from 1,100 to 2,200, and the protection level has been expanded from a 25-year recurrence period to 100 years.
