Recently, the "14th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development in Huicheng District" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") was released.
Energy is the basic industry of the national economy and society, and plays a very important role in ensuring the sustained, rapid and healthy development of the economy and the improvement of people's lives. The "14th Five-Year Plan" period (2021-2025) is a critical stage for Haohui Huicheng District to seize the construction opportunities of "double districts" and two cooperation zones, and build a higher-quality strong Huicheng city and a higher-quality happy Huicheng. It is an important period to steadily achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. It is very necessary to prepare the "14th Five-Year Plan" for energy development in Haohui City District.
The "Plan" consists of four chapters and 17 sections, divided into four major sections: development foundation, overall requirements, key tasks and safeguard measures. It makes a systematic plan and deployment for the energy development of Huicheng District during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. In accordance with the national "14th Five-Year Plan for Modern Energy System", "Guangdong Province Energy Development "14th Five-Year Plan"" and "Huizhou City Energy Development "14th Five-Year Plan"", the requirements for building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system are proposed. The "Plan" anchors the long-term goals and sets the main goals for Huicheng District's energy development in 2025 from four aspects:
First, the energy supply is more secure and reliable: the installed capacity of renewable energy power generation has been increased by 300.22MW; the natural gas pipeline network has been added by more than 168 kilometers, and 2-4 new 4000Nm³ storage and distribution stations have been built; 5,600 new charging piles and 228 new charging stations are planned; and 12 new gas stations have been built.
Second, the energy industry is more concentrated and integrated: clean energy and new energy industries are gradually growing, striving to add 300 megawatts of photovoltaic power generation, and hydrogen energy batteries and other industries have made certain progress.
Third, the energy structure is cleaner and lower-carbon: consolidating the achievements of zero coal, the proportion of natural gas consumption increased to 3.87%; the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption increased to 1.27%.
Fourth, energy utilization is more economical and efficient: the awareness of energy conservation in the whole society has increased, key enterprises and key areas have achieved significant results in energy conservation, green production and lifestyle have become common, and the "dual control" indicator tasks issued by Huizhou City have been completed.
Looking forward to 2035, Huicheng District will continue to maintain zero coal consumption, petroleum product consumption will reach its peak, natural gas and new energy will become the main energy consumption products in Huicheng District, the total energy consumption will gradually reach its peak, and energy technology innovation will achieve phased results.
