National Energy Diqing Shangri-La Power Generation Co., Ltd. was established on March 4, 1998. Its registered place is at Chongjiang River Power Station in Hutiao Gorge, Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture. Diqing belongs to an area rich in Class III light resources in my country. In order to accelerate the development of green new energy, the Yunnan Company of the National Energy Group seized the national policy window and explored multiple power projects such as photovoltaic power generation and hydropower.
In the Diqing area, we are actively exploring the water and light compensation mechanism for the Shuodogang River Basin hydropower station and ground photovoltaic power stations to ensure that the photovoltaic power station meets the safe operation and dispatch management of the power grid.
Xulong Hydropower Station is the 12th level in the "One Reservoir and 13 Levels" development plan for the upper reaches of the Jinsha River. It is located in Deqin County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province and Ganzi Tibetan County, Sichuan Province. In the upper reaches of the main stream of the Jinsha River at the junction of Derong County in the Autonomous Prefecture, the power station hub is mainly composed of a concrete double-curved arch dam, a water release structure on the dam body, a water cushion pond behind the dam, an underground water diversion power generation system on the right bank, and fish passing facilities. The maximum dam height is 213 meters. The hydropower station is equipped with 4 vertical-axis Francis turbine generator units, with a single unit capacity of 600,000 kilowatts and a total installed capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts. The average annual power generation for many years is about 10.5 billion kilowatt hours. The total project investment is 29.3 billion yuan, and the static investment is 422.5 billion yuan. After the power station is completed, it can save 3.15 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 7.86 million tons every year.
