Xinhua News Agency Beijing, September 28 (Reporter Shen Yinfei) The reporter learned from National Energy Group that the second batch of key projects of the group in 2022 will be started on the 27th. This concentrated construction starts 19 projects in six categories including coal, transportation, chemical industry, coal-fired power, hydropower, and new energy, with a total investment of more than 73 billion yuan.
Relevant person in charge of the National Energy Group introduced that this batch of key projects are distributed in 11 provinces across the country, covering the main industrial sectors of the National Energy Group, of which the total installed capacity of clean and efficient coal-fired power, hydropower and new energy projects is 13.67 million kilowatts, with hydropower and new energy investment accounting for 56% and capacity accounting for 44%. The project has large investment, strong demonstration, obvious regional advantages and outstanding scale benefits.

It is understood that in May this year, the National Energy Group has started the first batch of key power projects, including onshore new energy bases, offshore wind power , large-scale hydropower, coal-power capacity expansion and upgrading, and natural gas power generation, etc., with a total installed capacity of 12.38 million kilowatts, with a total investment of 86.1 billion yuan.
