According to Mannisu, the dispatcher of the cascade hydropower station integrated control center of the Nanoujiang River basin, this year is the first year of joint dispatch after the production of the Nanoujiang River basin cascade hydropower station. The Nanoujiang River Basin Company fully utilizes the advantages of joint dispatching and transport, balances the local power generation during the bliss and dry periods, and ensures the stable supply of electricity. The cascaded hydropower station in the entire basin of the Southern Europe River and the 5 hydropower stations in the South Russia form the "eight stations and one center", ensuring more than 12% of the electricity supply in Laos nationwide, and the power generation in the dry season accounts for 30% of the national electricity consumption.
Hydropower is sent to thousands of households, providing continuous clean electricity support for the local economic and social development of Laos with strong, stable and clean electricity output. During the operation, China Power Construction also actively shares experience, technology and advanced practices in equipment capacity and operation management, professional and technical talent training, water resource utilization and water environment management with the local government, and contribute to local development with pragmatic actions.
Mani Su is the first batch of Lao employees independently trained by the Nanoujiang River Basin Company, and is also the earliest batch of local employees in the cascade dispatch center. He has now grown into a dispatch manager with rich experience. From suppliers to construction parties, from logistics support to business executives, from villagers and fishermen to college students from prestigious universities, the Nanoujiang River Basin Company has provided more than 10,000 jobs to the local area, accounting for more than 60% of the local employees.
