Although converted into the price of gasoline and diesel per liter, the adjustment will not be large. , but it will take some time for oil prices to adjust, and there is still the possibility of continued decline. After experiencing ten rises and two falls, domestic oil prices are finally about to fall for the third time this year! Domestic oil prices have increased by as much as 40% in ten times this year, and the oil price has also risen directly from the original 6 yuan to 9 yuan. So how much will domestic oil prices fall after the third drop this year? We all will wait and see!
Looking back at the oil price trend in the first half of the year, the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war was indeed an important factor in the surge in oil prices. After the war broke out, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union announced that they would ban major Russian banks from using the SWIFT international settlement system. International oil prices quickly exceeded the $100/barrel mark. In early March, European and American sanctions on Russia were upgraded, and they announced an export ban on Russian energy. International oil prices experienced unilateral trends, reaching the level of US$139/barrel. Subsequently, the Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes and the largest release of crude oil reserves in history caused international oil prices to fall below US$110/barrel at the end of March. Despite this, the prices of Brent and WTI crude oil futures in the first quarter still increased by 38.70% and 33.30% respectively compared with the previous quarter. As of yesterday's close, the electronic trading price of U.S. WTI August crude oil futures closed up $2.67, or 2.52%, on Saturday (July 2), at $108.43 per barrel. London Brent crude oil futures for August delivery closed up $2.60, or 2.38%, at $111.63 per barrel. The small increase during this period can only be regarded as an episode. Judging from the market index, it will continue to fall in the future!
During this cycle, refined oil commercial inventories and gasoline inventories reached 13.861 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1.84%, and the storage capacity ratio was 39.6%, a month-on-month decrease of 0.75 percentage points. Diesel inventory was 16.4362 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1.72%, and the storage-capacity ratio was 36.52%, a month-on-month decrease of 0.64 percentage points. Specifically, social gasoline and diesel inventories rose while diesel and diesel stocks fell, and both main and independent refinery inventories of gasoline and diesel fell. Social traders are more willing to purchase gasoline than diesel this week, but they are still cautious despite the falling market and maintain low inventories. Gasoline fell slightly and diesel increased slightly. On the main business side, there was less external purchasing this week, and many regions are mainly engaged in catching up with monthly sales. Tasks continued to be promoted, and gasoline and diesel inventories fell to varying degrees; in terms of independent refineries, as the price of gasoline and diesel fell during the week, some terminal companies carried out replenishment operations, and gasoline and diesel inventories fell to varying degrees.
