On the afternoon of June 29, Chen Hui, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Qing presided over a report meeting on the Datang Huayin Zhuzhou 21 million kilowatt capacity expansion and transformation project to hear the progress of the project construction and coordinate to solve specific problems. He emphasized that we must go all out to speed up the progress, do a good job in the preliminary work of the project, ensure that construction officially starts in the third quarter, and make every effort to build this project into a national industry benchmark.

Datang Huayin Zhuzhou's 21 million kilowatt capacity expansion and upgrading project is planned to be located in Chenjiatang, Gantian Town, Lukou District. In the first phase, it is planned to build two 1 million kilowatt-class clean, environmentally friendly, efficient and energy-saving ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, and simultaneously construct desulfurization , denitrification facilities and supporting terminal projects. The project is planned to support four 2,000-ton wharves with a designed annual throughput of 4.5 million tons. After the coal is delivered to the wharf, it will be transported to the factory through tubular belts, taking into account the transportation needs of heavy equipment during the construction period and ash, slag, and gypsum during the operation period.

The person in charge of Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd. reported on the project status, as well as new energy development, old plant land disposal, channel dredging related matters, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the difficulties existing in the project construction process. The Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Municipal Transportation Bureau, Municipal Assets Regulation Bureau, and Lukou District respectively responded to the questions raised by the enterprises. At present, the investment decision-making, design bidding, and special review of this project are all progressing in an orderly manner. Lukou District has completed the land clearing work, and the supporting roads have started construction of the roadbed in the middle section.

Chen Huiqing learned in detail about the progress of various preparatory work before the start of the project, and handed over the problems reported by the company in new energy development, old factory land disposal, waterway dredging, etc. Chen Huiqing said that the municipal party committee and the municipal government attach great importance to the construction of Datang Huayin Zhuzhou's 21 million kilowatt capacity expansion and upgrading project.
