Breguet presents two new models with their own characteristics, sharing the same unique design - the minute hands on the dial appear different shapes as time goes by, outlining the elegant curve of the goose egg shape, adding personal charm to this iconic watch series.

Breguet Reine de Naples The inspiration for the Queen of Naples is from Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1812 as the sister of Napoleon 3—the elegant Queen of Naples Caroline (Caroline) Murat - the first known watch in Breguet history. This watch features an oblong case and is an undeniably iconic women's watch. Today, the case of this series of watches has evolved into a goose egg shape, and its unique beautiful curves allow it to be seen from many watches. Whether inlaid with gems, engraved with patterns, or covered with paint, every watch in the modern Reine de Naples collection offers songs of hymn and gentle women. The two new works this time are no exception, with extraordinary creativity and interpreting the authentic style of the Reine de Naples Queen series, which is unforgettable.
The pointer that changes in track
The dials of the two new watches are equipped with minute hands that change shape with time, and the design is new, interesting and unique. Because it is equipped with a unique exquisite device, the minute hand can change into different shapes according to its position on the goose egg-shaped dial, like magic. This device was developed by Breguet and has now obtained multiple patent certifications. The variable-shaped minute hand consists of two pointer arms, both completely independent and only connected to each other at the top. The pointer arm bends and changes under the drive of a delicate gear set, so the pointer appears stretched at 12 o'clock and gathers more rounded at 6 o'clock. Under this special device is an oval cam, which reminds people of the graceful figure of the Queen of Naples. As time goes by, each pointer arm rotates at a different speed; while the shape of the minute hand changes continuously as it runs on the dial, complementing the slender goose egg-shaped case.
Two distinctive aesthetic styles
| Mysterious and elegant Breguet Reine de Naples The white gold case of the Queen of Naples series 9835 watch forms an elegant contrast with the midnight blue mother-of-pearl dial, which presents a delicate and wonderful color as the light changes. The case has 161 diamonds inlaid with the outer edge, bezel and lugs. The crown is set with 1 water drop-shaped cut diamond, and the folding buckle is also set with 28 diamonds. The window in the center of the dial cleverly displays time. The minute markers for the transfer are covered with silver, and the font style is quite distinctive, reminiscent of the digital design hand-painted by Mr. Breguet back then. This style comes with an alligator leather strap that echoes the dial's color. Limited to launch 20 pieces. |
Changing and colorful Breguet Reine de NaplesThe white painted dial of the Queen of Naples series 9838 watch is in sharp contrast with the midnight blue crocodile leather strap. The white gold case is paired with a bezel, outer edge and crown set with blue sapphire. Various decorative elements dance on the dial, and the transfer of Arabic numerals hour markers are stretched or aggregated with minute hands, with different shapes, elegant and interesting. |

two timepieces, the same movement
, the goose egg-shaped case with a length of 36.5 mm and a width of 28.45 mm is equipped with a 78A0 automatic winding movement composed of 252 parts. Its oscillation frequency is 3.5 Hz. The movement is equipped with a silicone hairspring and a silicone Swiss linear lever escapement mechanism . Silicon has many excellent characteristics, not only resistant to corrosion and wear, but also not easily affected by magnetic fields, which can increase the accuracy of the timepiece. The gears of this complex device are like all parts of the movement, whether exposed or not, carefully polished by hand according to Breguet tradition. Through the sapphire glass bottom cover with white gold case, platinum rotor, Geneva corrugated pattern (Côtes de Genève) and chamfer details are visible. On the edge of the gold, there are independent numbers engraved with watches, all numbers are recorded in Breguet's historical archives, which have been treasured since the end of the 18th century.
