Because, on September 4 next year, the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe will celebrate its 70th anniversary. With the support of of the Shanghai Film Group, the troupe decided to shoot the documentary "Shanghai Film Actors Troupe and Me", and planned to interview more than 70 troupe actors to systematically sort out the troupe history, leave valuable image materials, and tell the stories of the old actors and Shanghai Film Group well.

On November 12, "Shangguan News" published an article titled "Exclusive Interview with 76-year-old actor Gu Yongfei: She is Sun Daolin's "Fanyi", introducing the long-lost film actor Gu Yongfei 's return to the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe, as well as her decades of artistic life and mental journey.

Why is Gu Yongfei returning to the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe? It turned out that she was an actor in the troupe and later went abroad. Although Gu Yongfei returned to China to film after going abroad for many years, it has been more than 30 years since she left Shanghai Film Festival.

Gu Yongfei was born in 1946. Her father is Gu Erhan, a famous playwright and former chairman of the Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, her mother is the first generation of announcer trained by New China, and her uncle is just a famous film artist Gu.

Gu Yongfei was admitted to the performance department of Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1962. When she graduated, she was caught up with the big movement in the 1960s. Due to the influence of her elders who were persecuted, she was assigned to work as a worker in a chemical factory in Beijing and suffered a lot. In 1974, she was so hard that she was recruited as a drama actor by the Xinjiang Urumqi Military Region Theater Troupe.

In 1977, Gu Yongfei participated in the performance of two movies "Storm and Waves" and "The Glorious Years", and played the roles of He Yongru and Gong Lan respectively. "Storm and Waves" was her first movie from the drama stage to the screen. In "I Wish People Long" released in 1981, Gu Yongfei played the role of Qiao Meng, a mother who played from 17 to 47 years old, with an age span.

In 1984, Sun Daolin started filming based on the film " Thunderstorm " directed and starred in the drama of the same name by Cao Yu . When Sun Daolin and Cao Yu, who have watched "I hope I will live forever", starring Gu Yongfei, they felt that Gu Yongfei was particularly suitable for the role of Fan Yi. At that time, Cao Yu was very surprised when talking about Gu Yongfei: How could this actor not be famous? Sun Daolin smiled and said: She will become popular after she finishes filming "Thunderstorm".

After starring in "Thunderstorm", Gu Yongfei did not have many film appointments, but when she got the role, she always felt that it was not as challenging as "Fanyi".
