Tooth, in ancient times, refers to government offices, which is what we often call "Fuya". In traditional place names, the city where the government office is located is called Yacheng; the house where the highest official of a city lives is called Yazhai. The generals and soldiers under the command of a city chief are called Yajiang and Yabing; the most important thing is the flag erected on the city walls, which is the familiar "Yaqi". A conclusion can be drawn from this, the tooth represents the command and territory. For example, after the Qing Dynasty entered the customs, the Eight Banners allowed the Eight Banners to seize the land, and the area occupied by the Yaqi was the land they owned.

Therefore, when the later generations sacrificed the "Federal God", they were called "Making Teeth"; and this "Federal God" was actually the land god worshipped by the people. In traditional culture, there are 24 dentitions about the date of tooth making, that is, the second and sixteenth of each month. The sixteenth of the twelfth lunar month is the last period of the year, so it is called "tail teeth". In the old society, the tail teeth represented the end of all activities in the year and also the beginning of the New Year.

This custom has been passed down, and it is the annual gathering of businesses and enterprises in today's society, which is also known as the "tail tooth feast."
