" Bottom Line " is the first legal-themed TV series in my country that panoramicly shows the latest achievements of the judicial reform of the people's courts. The drama is Supreme People's Court . The creative idea of "seeking truth, seeking truth, seeking excellence"
"Bottom Line" tells the moving story of Zhang Weimin, Fang Yuan, Zhou Yian, Ye Xin, etc., who devoted themselves to the construction of the rule of law, constantly honed and grew up in their work, always practicing the original mission of the courts and adhering to the belief in the rule of law. Both in terms of subject matter and type, it was rarely expressed in previous film and television dramas. It can be said to be an "adventure" and has also achieved an effective breakthrough. In order to more realistically demonstrate the original intention and belief of court people in the new era, the "Bottom Line" project team always regards "seeking truth, seeking truth, and seeking excellence" as the basic principle of creation and the principle of adherence to at all stages of filming.
The drama began to be conceived in 2019, and was launched in October 2020 to February 2022. The filming was completed on May 30 of the same year. The project took 3 years, and the script was repeatedly polished for more than 1,128 hours, with a total of 20 drafts being modified. The two groups of AB were filmed for 94 days, and 40 integrated films were finally completed.
During the filming preparation stage, the "Bottom Line" project team systematically organized the field trip team to more than 60 courts and mediation organizations including Changsha, Hengyang , Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, etc. to conduct field research, and systematically understand the organizational structure and operating mechanism of the court.
interviewed more than 200 front-line court workers and established a prototype file of characters: typical characters such as grassroots judges who transformed from lawyers, civil judges who were still on the front line at the age of 59, the earliest batch of intellectual property judges in China, and post-90s post judges all appeared in the play. In addition, the project team collected more than 300 representative cases of various types and established a case material library.
At the same time, more than 100 subdivided cases that conform to the spirit of the " Civil Code " were sorted out and classified, as well as some criminal cases that are concerned by the people, striving to fully demonstrate the current society and people's lives, conform to the mainstream spirit and values of the times, and establish a dialogue space with the recipients to the greatest extent, form a benign interaction, and achieve empathy and resonance and resonance. During the shooting of
, more than 400 members of the creative team traveled 4,656 kilometers and filmed on the spot in more than 170 places in Changsha. It took 1,200 hours to build a total of 40 high-reduction and a total of 3,000 square meters of court interiors, prepared 10,000 sets of clothing and 30,000 props, and strives to make every detail extremely realistic.
"Bottom Line" In addition to establishing a library of materials for characters and cases, and trying to restore the current real life of courts and courts in details such as scenes, costumes, props, etc., the main creative team and participants also go deep into the lives and work of courts, follow the class practice, and understand the real working and living conditions and mental outlook of grassroots judges.
For the actors participating, in-depth practice not only supplements the corresponding professional knowledge to a certain extent, so that actors can have the possibility of more realistic expression in the specific creative process. At the same time, on the basis of a more personal understanding of the life, work and mental outlook of court people, actors can develop in the direction of seeking truth and truth while ensuring the pursuit of truth, increasing the authenticity and sense of reality of the work from the inside out, so that the entire work is not limited to the objectivity of external design and display, but combines the inside and outside to present a more three-dimensional and real rule of law.
