vampire Count Dracula
Dracula was first played by Bella Lugosi in the 1931 Universal Monster movie Dracula, but there are many other actors who played this vampire very well, including Christopher Lee, Long Chaney Jr., Gary Oldman, Luke Evans and Richard Rocksburg. Count Dracula is often considered one of the greatest horror characters of all time, and if he is not classified as the Dark Lord, no one will be classified as the Dark Lord.
Darth Vader "Star Wars"
Darth Vader is the most iconic image of this group of people, and he is also one of the greatest villains in the movie. The tragic backstory is further explored in the George Lucas 's Star Wars prequel, and in the original trilogy, Vader has been a thorn in Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)'s side and has the honor of revealing the most classic twist in film history. Darth Vader, holding a red lightsaber and wearing a half-robot suit, is very scary, not the Sith Great you want to surpass.
Darth Vader
His role in Star Wars Legend: Rogue One and Obi-Wan Full showcases the cruelty and power of the Sith Dark Demon, and consolidates his position on this list. Even if he is not there, he is still the most recognizable villain among the group. James Earl Jones The loud and powerful voice directs a sense of presence that no one present can do, which is quite memorable. Of course, Darth Vader eventually turned back to Anakin Skywalker ( Hayden Christensen ), so he did not remain evil forever.
Soren "Lord of the Rings"
Mordo's Dark Demon Soren has been a threat to Middle-earth for thousands of years. Although he is not the only (or even the largest) Dark Demon in the legendary Tolkien Middle-earth world, he is the most eye-catching and explored, especially in Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" and " Hobbit " trilogy. Sauron is a powerful opponent, an opponent that even an elves, humans or wizards cannot easily defeat! Sauron has a huge army and the abilities of a necromancer, and is a very amazing figure.
Soren
Soren is seen as a huge threat at the beginning of Lord of the Rings 1: The Rings Messenger, and later in the rest of Jackson's fantasy trilogy is seen as a big eye for alertness, and he casts shadows in Middle-earth more than anyone else. His own Supreme Ring is so evil that it has the power to corrupt the young hero Frodo (Elijah Wood) and prevent him from destroying the Ring, even if he vows to destroy it, only Sauron ends up destroying it with his own life.
Emperor Palpatine "Star Wars"
The villain behind the entire Star Wars Skywalker legend Emperor Palpatine ( Ian McDimed ) seems to have never been defeated for too long. The Sith's Dark Lord is one of the most powerful Force wielders in the entire Star Wars series, and he succeeds in escaping the clutches of death many times in classic and non-classic stories. Of course, nothing can compare to his proficiency in Sith Lightning, but Darth Seides's ability to use lightsaber is also quite good.
Emperor Palpatine
Palpatine has been undiscovered for decades, manipulating them through political power, and he rises up with false humility, which makes him unique and no one is smarter than him. Darth Seeds can lure the chosen son of the Jedi to the dark side, using your darkest fears and failures to make yourself a priceless thing for your success and victory. While his performance in Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker is a bit mediocre, there is a reason why Star Wars always relies on this big villain.
Voldemort "Harry Potter"
The Dark King Voldemort ( Ralph Fiennes ), "the person who can't even mention his name", is not only a skilled wizard, but also a terrifying creature. Somehow, he even looks less like a human. Voldemort tortured Harry Potter since he was a baby, working through the back of other wizards, his own soul when he was young, and his own snake-like body.
Voldemort
If there is anything to say about this Dark King, it is that he is one of the most ruthless people. When it comes to Voldemort, we have no room for forgiveness, because he will do his best to be the most powerful wizard in the world, especially when it means killing the enemy. Voldemort and his Death Eaters gang have spells that control minds, torture and killing, which is undoubtedly the greatest threat to the magic world. However, if a harmless little baby can beat him, how powerful can he be?
Dakside (Zach Snyder's "Justice League ")
Although he did not appear in Jos Weden 's "Justice League" movie, the dark demon has appeared several times in Zach Snyder's "Justice League", which is a super version of this movie. Although he doesn't have much to do , he doesn't need to do it either, because we know that in a "knight-like" future, he brainwashed himself and controlled Superman ( Henry Cavill ), turning the earth into a wasteland.
Dakseid
Dakseid (played by Ray Porter)'s demon army obeys him, not to mention his other generals and infantry, he has ruled the entire planet and rebuilt it in his image, and now he has turned his attention to the earth. Initially, an army of humans, gods, Amazons, Atlantis and Green Lanterns defeated him, making him the biggest threat in the DC extended universe. Hopefully one day we can see the live-action version of Justice League finally defeating him.
Hela "Thor 3: Ragnarok"
As the sister of Thor ( Chris Hemsworth) and Rocky ( Tom Hiddleston ), this dark lady is probably the most unstoppable force in the entire Marvel cinematic universe. Hela ( Cate Blanchett) is basically impossible to be killed. Hela was able to defeat the entire Asgardian army alone and be responsible for the destruction of the kingdom, and there was no doubt that Hela was a rather terrible villain.
Hela
In fact, she is so dark that Odin (Anthony Hopkins) has to lock her up and connect her imprisonment to his own vitality, and few villains are so powerful, and no one has ever taken such extreme measures to expel them. Although she is killed by Sethur (Clancy Brown) at the end of "Thor 3: Ragnarok", she poses the greatest threat to the heroes of the Marvel Universe.
Malefison "Sleeping Beauty"
As one of the oldest dark lords in film history, Malefison (voiced by Eleanor Audley) debuted on the big screen in the original "Sleeping Beauty", where she eventually turned into a flame-breathing dragon, stopping Princess Aurora (played by Mary Costa) from her true love. Malefison calls herself the "evil hostess", and she is also one of the most powerful wizards in Disney history, and has become a recurring villain throughout Disney legend, even the last opponent in "Fantasy" produced by Disney theme parks.
Maleficent
However, in recent years, her image has received more sympathy, just like the bad witch in "The Wizard of Oz" was adapted into "The Bad Witch of Magic", there are more than one story of Maleficent, but both live-action movies are almost heroic protagonists, played by Angelina Jolie. Whether you like this hero version of the Dark Elves or prefer the evil queen who is determined to avenge, Maleficent is undoubtedly the most successful evil hostess in Disney history.
The Little Fairy King Jass "Magic Labyrinth"
The main opponent in the musical fantasy epic "Magic Labyrinth" directed by Jim Henson, the Little Fairy King Jass ( David Bowie ) is one of the strangest dark lords. In the story, the young Sarah ( Jennifer Connery ) mistakenly hopes that her younger brother will be captured by the goblin, so he is summoned by her. Jas hopes to take the boy to his own, but Sarah disagrees and makes a bet to save her loved ones.
Little Fairy King Jass
Little Fairy King dressed in gorgeous David Bowie-style costumes and participated in some killer musical performances (also written by David Bowie). But apart from his huge maze, the most terrifying thing is his moment of snatching away Toby (Torby Frode). Whatever his plan for Toby was, unlike other Dark Lords, Jas only possessed power if Sarah gave him power. This should be one of the weakest dark lords.
Devil "The Dark Lord"
The appearance of the Devil reminds people of the medieval Christian interpretation of the devil, who is the devil. In the epic dark fantasy movie "The Dark Lord" by Ridley Scott , the Dark Lord, played by Tim Curry, plans to kill the last remaining unicorn and put the world into darkness, and he almost succeeds. If any character on this list perfectly embodies the meaning of Dark Lord, it is him!
Demon
Domine the movie clips watched, the Demon may or may not survive the final battle with Jack (Tom Cruise ), but regardless of his ultimate fate, he is a respectable opponent and a terrible enemy. One thing is clear, the evil laughter of the Devil is the best you can get from the Dark Devil besides Vincent Price!
Chernaborg "Fantasy"
Like Satan,Chernaborg is probably the most terrifying of all the dark lords because of his appearance, looming presence, and the army of ghosts and demons under his command. The first appearance was in the "Night of the Barren Mountains/Maria" section of the Disney epic Fantasy, the dark demon king was actually as big as the mountain he lived in and continued to leave his mark on the larger Disney classics, even in the live American series Fairy Tale Town and the video game "Heart of Kingdom".
Chernaborg
As the perfect embodiment of pure evil,Chernaborg never said a word, he just ordered his demons to send them to scare the people under the mountain on a cursed Halloween night. According to Slavic mythology, his name literally means "the God of Black", and is famous for putting the world into darkness. Even Walt Disney calls him "the devil himself", which makes Chernborg one of the greatest dark lords in the movie!
What other dark kings are there?
