薛之谦(Joker Xue), born in Shanghai on July 17, 1983, is a male pop singer, film and television actor and music producer in Mainland China. He graduated from Glion Hotel Management College.
In 2005, he made his official debut due to participating in the talent show "My Type My Show"[1]. In 2006, he released his first album of the same name "Xue Zhiqian", and then gained widespread attention with the song "Serious Snow". 
In 2007, with the album "How are you doing?" won the MusicRadio China TOP list of the most popular male singer of the year award in the Mainland. In 2008, the album "Deeply Loved You" was released. In the same year, he held his first solo concert "The Legend of Qian Nian"
Since then, Xue Zhiqian has been hidden in the snow. He has been a waiter and opened a hot pot restaurant. In June 2015, Xue Zhiqian acted as a producer for the first time and released the original EP "Gentleman"; in the same year, he also starred in the urban inspirational drama "Mom Like a Flower".
