Harry wants to break the status quo by agreeing to an interview with Meghan Oprah and he knows what he's doing, a royal expert says.
Harry and Meghan caused an uproar in the royal family in March when they accused the royal family of racism, saying a member of the family questioned the colour of their son Archie.
Harry also claimed that Prince Charles and Prince William were "trapped" by the system and his father stopped answering his calls after they left the royal family.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told the Sixth Edition that Harry "knows what he's doing", adding: "I can swear to you that he wants to disrupt the status quo."
"I don't understand why, but he did want to do it, and he did it. I don't think he would be surprised by the consequences."
Seward also said she had a hard time understanding Meghan's time in Waiachi Claiming to be suicidal.
"You don't have to go to HR in the UK. You can go to the doctor or say to your husband 'Honey, I feel so bad, I need help,'" Seward suggested.
"Harry is in therapy himself, so he must know some people."
Seward added that she doesn't believe Harry will explain to Meghan the basics of being a royal or that it's any different from being a celebrity.
William and Harry briefly reunited at Prince Philip's funeral last month and are expected to meet again this summer when they unveil a new statue of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace.
Insiders are hoping the July 1 event -- to mark their mother's 60th birthday -- will help mend their relationship, which Harry said in an interview with Oprah, is currently in a "vacuum" state.
However, royal expert Russell Miles questioned whether the royal family would meet Harry, commenting: "Some people in the royal family have indeed been cold to Harry, which may have come as a shock to him."
