The Yiwu girl who married to Cameroon returned home

14 years ago, a girl surnamed Wu in Yiwu met Cameroon by train. The guy is an overseas student in China. Ms. Wang graduated from a foreign language school and speaks fluent French. The two talked happily and sparked love. One year later, Ms. Wang decided to marry away.

When I fell in love with a black man, my honest parents resolutely opposed it. When they learned that their daughter was going to marry away, the father locked her daughter in the room and put her in confinement. However, the magic of love is really no small thing. Faced with his daughter's hunger strike, the father is desperate. The moment he opened the door, he said to his daughter: "Let's go, just as if I didn't give birth to you to support you, don't regret it."

Miss Wang knelt down. "Dad, mom, daughter will be happy."

However, Miss Wang came back not long ago.

§01

The 38-year-old Ms. Wang gives a feeling of vicissitudes of life. Perhaps there are too many African stories, the eyelids are a little puffy, the hair is dull, and a trace of gray hair is faintly visible. The biggest change is the nostrils, which are slightly upturned, which seems to be larger than before. Could it be that they are degraded?

Ms. Wang’s father told me that he has been in contact with his daughter over the years, and he has paid special attention to the news in Cameroon. The daughter said that her son-in-law loves her very much. Others are polygamous. They have always been affectionate, but the father knows that her daughter is not doing well. The daughter has never sent a penny to the family, but the old couple often sends some daily necessities. . I won't leave this time, I have already found a job in Shanghai.

I asked, is the son-in-law coming back?

Ms. Wang's father said that they died not long ago, and their life expectancy is short.

Hearing our chat, Ms. Wang's mother blamed her husband: Don't mention anything when something has passed, just let her daughter come back well.

Unwilling to accept his father's heart, he let out a long sigh. Many Yiwu people refuse to marry even Jinhua, and they still want to marry black people. What should they do in the future?

It can be seen that Ms. Wang's parents still have a grudge about their daughter's marriage.

§02

Ms. Wang told me,The reason for returning to China is that it is difficult to integrate into the local society. Although she has been in Yaounde for more than ten years, Ms. Wang is still an outsider, without classmates, friends, or relatives. He works as an interpreter in a Chinese company. When he sees a Chinese, he is his family, and he spends most of his time in the company. She said that I mainly deal with Chinese people. Cameroonians don’t know many people. Perhaps for this reason, she always thinks that she has only gone abroad to work for a few years, and in the end she has to return to the roots.

Speaking of Cameroon’s food, she said that it’s okay. There are also rice and vegetables. The fruits are of many varieties and good quality. The locals eat with their hands and I insist on using chopsticks. Cameroonians are very tolerant at this point, and no one asks you what to do.

Cameroon practices polygamy, but she and her husband chose to be monogamous, and the husband abides by their promises, but Cameroon’s marriage system is diverse. Under this marriage system, Cameroonians are very disciplined before marriage because they have to be verified when they get married. It is clear whether she is a virgin, but cheating after marriage is commonplace. Because there are many boys and girls, a man can marry 3 wives or more. And the people here are very open-minded. It's not surprising that women cheat on their husbands or boyfriends, and they are not angry at all, because the customs are like that. Because of this, this is one of the birthplaces of AIDS . Because there are few men, the status of men is higher. Many men don't work and are supported by women.

My husband also cheated, and family expenses basically depend on my income. I used to think that the overseas students were all elites in the country. Later I learned that the overseas students from Cameroon were not, and they couldn't find a good job after returning to China. The conflicts between my husband and I are mainly concentrated on this point. Cheating is a custom, but people who have stayed in school can’t be lazy, so I asked him to find a job. He has also looked for a few times, but after a few months, he will either resign or dismiss.

§03

Ms. Wang said, I have always believed in love and thought that the power of love can give up everything for one person, but then I found out that I was wrong. I gave up everything for him, he may not give up a little bit for me. After living in Cameroon, I suggest that my husband’s lifestyle is as close to me as possible, such as not eating with his hands, such as cooking lightly, but he is unwilling to change for me, sometimes he is unhappy, he said, I have done it for you Gave up the right to ask a few wives,What about me?

Over time, love will fade. About two or three years later, the exchanges between us were less. I was in the company during the day, and I didn't know where he was and what he was doing. I could hardly see him several times when I went home at night. If there is no money, he also makes a call, and I transfer it to him via mobile phone.

I have had many illnesses. This disease is called malaria , and there is no one in the country. Cameroonians think it's a cold, maybe they are used to it, but when I get this disease, I feel very uncomfortable. There is a burst of cold and hot. When it is cold, I get into the bed and tremble, and when it is hot, the air-conditioned room also sweats. At first I called my husband, but he said that if anyone has never been ill, just forbearance. After I got sick, I stopped talking to anyone. I miss my parents the most when I am sick, but I chose the road myself, and I am not ashamed to say. In recent years, it has been difficult to persist.

Because of the fear of being infected with AIDS, married life is becoming less and less, but if there is no married life between father and wife, it is difficult to maintain the relationship. Later, my husband and I were almost equal to passers-by. He was indifferent to me, and I treated him as passers-by.

§04

Ms. Wang's husband passed away in November last year. Cameroonians regard death as a "happy event" and celebrate. It is said that after the chief's death, the widow tore the clothes that the chief wore when he died. Everyone held a funeral ceremony by singing, dancing, and drinking all night. After two years of burial, the chief must be excavated and his skull taken as a sacrificial vessel. After the blacksmith died, the whole village stopped working to celebrate. After the death of an identified person or doctor, the body shall be buried in the house where he lived before his death. After the pregnant woman dies, the baby is taken out of her belly, and then people go down to the river to take a bath. To my husband, I belong to a person with an identity, and the body is buried in the house.

This is something I will never accept. I never returned to that home ever since.

Speaking of future life plans, Ms. Wang said that China is very hostile to women who marry in Africa, but it is not necessary. Because these girls who are married to black people are basically for love, it is fine to say that they are naive, or even stupid, but the brave spirit of these women to pursue love is still worthy of recognition. These women are not greedy for money.

Finally, Ms. Wang reminded the female compatriots that love is not secure and there are risks in marrying away.
