Since Linfen City decided to convert the No. 1 teaching building into a Experimental Primary School of Normal University, I have to come here to take a look every now and then. In fact, looking at the progress of the project or possible problems is just a pleasing excuse. The inner motivation is still a deep love for this building. Just think about it, when I was in college in 1986, the second floor of the teaching building No. 1 was the office and classroom of the former history department. Here I spent the best time in my life. I never expected that a few years later, I returned to my alma mater's history department. I believe that many people who have similar experiences to me will empathize with the familiarity, intimacy, gratitude and humility when sitting at the desk where my mentors have sat down. Maybe it was due to this unsuccessful emotion. When I heard that I wanted to use this place for other purposes, I felt a sense of entanglement and difficulty in giving up. However, the rolling Yangtze River , the sunset is several times, how many things in the world are there that lasts forever?
Since it is decided, let’s do your best to cooperate. During the days when I removed the seats in the classroom, I went there almost every day and saw careless workers taking off the fixed seats and stacking them in a large pile of murals on the first floor foyer, which really made me very worried. I persuaded them more than once, reminding them: "Be careful, be careful, and never break the murals that reflect ancient history and culture." At the end of the project, I went to look at them again, and only then did I breathe a sigh of relief when I saw that the murals were still intact.
When I was locked down at home due to the epidemic, I think of this building from time to time, thinking of its past, its present and its future. Therefore, the day after the unblocking was lifted, I couldn't help but walk towards here.
There is silence in the campus. I walked on the road of the teacher, with tall and stout French sycamore on both sides, standing upright, with twisted branches curling up, with all kinds of postures. I know that in summer, it must be covered by the sky, and the snow has passed, and the leaves are like huge butterflies, dancing, falling into the earth, or holding on to the branches and refusing to leave. At this moment, I remember what Professor Liu Songjiang said when he passed by these two rows of trees: "In summer, they use leaves to block the sun and dedicate the shade to people; in winter, they take off their carefully woven green clothes, and would rather be naked than let the sun shine on the earth." Suddenly, should this be the meaning of "the way of teaching the teacher"?
As he said that, he was getting far off the ground. Let’s go back to the front of the teaching building No. 1. Maybe it was because I came too early, and the staff in the building have not arrived yet. The silver-white telescopic door at the door was half open, and the electronic characters on the door flashed, and red arc light was emitted from time to time; the door and doors and windows were closed. I leaned closer to the glass window and looked inside. There was no one inside, so I walked slowly forward; under my feet was the floor paved with square bricks, spreading flat. In the middle of the yard, in the fence made of stainless steel, there is a stone pedestal. The familiar Confucius image still stands on the pedestal. Standing under this ancient sage, looking up at him holding a sword and holding a scroll, looking deep in the distance, I also feel a sense of immediate worries, long-term contempt, humility, tolerance, and a long-term way.
An iron grid fence is surrounded by the surrounding area of the yard, and the two triangular flower ponds are obviously surrounded by them. The cold wind in winter has already blown the leaves of hawthorn and ginkgo in the flower pond, and only the two tall tower pine trees on the east and west sides still maintain their majestic dark green. The gatehouse in front of the gate of the No. 1 teaching building was re-painted with iron red color, which highlights the heaviness of history against the background of the sky blue background of the entire building. I walked up the steps, pulled forward and pushed the tall glass door on the left. The door was locked, and it seemed that there was really no one inside, so I broke away.
Go straight back to the office. Just as I was thinking this way, I suddenly saw the stone as stable as an elephant in front of the No. 4 teaching building, and then walked over.It is the first time that I have been working in school for many years and watching this huge rock at such a close distance. When I approached, I realized that there was a circle of black marble in the lawn surrounding this stone. Maybe people later saw this stone placed here, thinking that someone would look at it up close without having to step on the lawn, but lay it.
"官网" two traditional Chinese characters are engraved on the west side of the stone. The undulating and smooth stone surface on the south side is engraved with cursive inscriptions. The font is round, strong and powerful, like flowing clouds and flowing water, completed in one go.
is so beautiful! I immediately became intoxicated by the beauty of the smoke and clouds, the flowers and the moon, and the fish and geese falling.
After I returned to the office, I couldn't calm down. What is "puyuan"? Who wrote the article? A series of questions were circling in my mind. Was Mr. Yuan Zhanyong the director of the school office at that time? Does he know?
Considering the possibility of the original teacher resting, I did not call him directly, but sent a picture and explained the meaning. Teacher Yuan quickly replied: "The inscription was written by Teacher Liu Zixue, the director of the Party Office at the time. The calligraphy was written by Teacher Chai Jianguo. As for the word "puyuan", some people say it was to commemorate the former Party Secretary Guo Pu, but it was just a legend."
With the clues provided by Teacher Yuan, I think I can quickly figure out the ins and outs of this stone. According to the phone number provided by the original teacher, I quickly contacted Teacher Liu Zixue. On the other end of the phone, there was still the familiar, clear and harmonious voice:
Puyuan is the name of this place. In the past, this place was a large soil pit with a radius of dozens of meters, with weeds and flying flies and mosquitoes. The teachers and students worked hard to do this. During the " Five Lectures, Four Beauties, Three Loves " activity, Guo Pu, then Party Secretary, set an example, filled pits and flat grounds, planted grass and flowers, which made the campus landscape a landmark improvement. As for whether "Puyuan" uses the homonym of his name, this is just what people say. The word "puyuan" was decided by the Party Committee, and it may be because it means public servant. Haha, I drafted the inscription and I can’t remember it after a long time.
Then, I contacted Teacher Qiu Jin, who was the then logistics director:
"The stone is granite . We wrapped it with hemp rope, wrapped it with iron wire, and held it with a forklift bucket, and then transported it back from Xiandonggou . When I came back, I found that the forklift was also damaged."
Alas, based on my superficial knowledge of ancient Chinese, I know that the word "pu" in "puyuan" sometimes refers to the driver in ancient times, which is also the humble reputation of the ancients. I think, generation after generation, which one of the mentors of my alma mater is not a "driver"? Which one is not a humble "servant"?
