-----How can a child without good family education, clear goals, good habits, excellent qualities, and strong will have lofty ambitions? How can we persevere? How can we be optimistic? How can we cooperate and win-win? How can it stand out in the fierce competition?

More than 30 years of educational and teaching experience tells me a truth: whether a child can achieve success depends mainly on family education rather than school education!

I used to be naive to think that no matter how poor the grades are or how ignorant the children can change through school education. I always ambitiously believe that even if parents hand over a "stone" to me, I can still "heat it" with my whole heart of love and great efforts. However, after nearly twenty years of hard work, I finally accepted a clear fact: school education is not omnipotent, it is good that its role in children's growth can reach 30% of its achievements, and the family is the one who really plays a decisive role.

Family is the cradle of children's growth and an original and intoxicating growth environment. The blood-thicker than water and the relationship between weal and woe determine that parents are the people their children trust the most and the mentor for their children's lifelong growth.

Family education basically determines children’s outlook on life, values, and world outlook. Parents’ educational concepts, educational methods and educational abilities determine the development of non-intellectual factors such as children’s habits, ideals, beliefs, will, pattern, and way of thinking. Practice has proved that a person's success depends precisely on non-intellectual factors rather than intellectual factors. Parents not only determine the level of children's intelligence factors, but also greatly affect the level of children's non-intellectual factors.

The word "education" must be understood separately. "Teaching" mainly refers to "teaching" and "solving doubts", focusing on the imparting of knowledge and skills. This task is mainly achieved through the school's "teaching". "Education" mainly refers to "preaching", focusing on ideological education and personality improvement, and this role is mainly achieved through "education". "Teaching" and "education" are a dialectical and unified relationship. "Teaching" is an external cause and a necessary condition, "education" is an internal cause and the fundamental, and "external cause" must work through "internal cause".

How can a child without good family education, no clear goals, good habits, good quality, and strong will have lofty ambitions? How can we persevere? How can we be optimistic? How can we cooperate and win-win? How can it stand out in the fierce competition?

At present, many parents believe that the responsibility for their children’s food and clothing lies in themselves, while the responsibility for their children’s learning lies in their school. I think that the less holiday, the better, and that only when there are less holidays, can children learn well. Some parents even spend a lot of money to run full care for their children, let their children live in apartments, and have long-term food and accommodation cram schools! As a result, countless problematic students were trained at a huge cost.

The essence of education is to cultivate habits, to cultivate a healthy personality and a positive attitude towards life. Both parents and children must remember that "education" is more important than "teaching". It is terrible to just "teaching" but not "educating"!
