This student is of average talent, but his parents have high expectations for him and insist on letting his children take the best high school in the city. The child is currently in the third year of junior high school and will graduate next year. Parents are very anxious. According to their current grades, at most they are at the level of a third-rate high school in the city. This child started tutoring since the first year of junior high school and spent about 100,000 yuan in three years. Parents are willing to spend money, but their children's grades are always unstable. This summer, when they went to junior high school for the second grade of junior high school, they fell from key classes to ordinary classes, which greatly affected the children, and parents were also anxious.
Parents have always placed their hopes on the tutoring teachers, but after making up for more than two years, their grades have not improved much. When I first entered a key class, I also had a relationship. It was normal to be defeated by the third year of junior high school. In fact, the teacher racked his brains and tried his best to do it. After each exam, he helped the child sort out the wrong questions, taught answering skills, helped find the reasons, and then repeatedly brushed the same type of questions. However, in the next exam, the same question type was still wrong, which made the teachers speechless and felt that it was wrong for parents.
Why can’t this child’s grades improve? The main reason is that his talent for learning is limited, and it is futile to repeatedly cook fresh rice; secondly, his parents have too much hope for him and put too much pressure on him, so he is a little insensitive. Although the 3rd tests are sometimes good, parents seem to see the dawn, because the knowledge in the 3rd tests is relatively simple, and it is normal to get good results occasionally. Here, I advise my friends at home who are preparing to go to high school or college. If your child has limited academic talent, don’t put too much pressure on him, as it will sometimes backfire. Don't expect too much from him, the gap will be even greater then. Any industry requires talent, and the same is true for studying.
