On November 8, the School of Literature and Media held the 2023 " Challenge Cup " College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Works Competition. Li Shaoxian, vice president of the college, attended the event, with Liu Zhuo and Yao Jiaodi, teachers of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Liu Xuanyi, deputy director of the Department of Journalism and Communication, Zhang Yuanwei, deputy director of the General Office, and Hu Songwu, secretary of the Youth League Branch, and Ren Ling, deputy secretary, served as judges.
This selection competition received more than 50 works. The competition is conducted by the contestants' self-report and defense. Most contestants used multimedia technology to demonstrate live and interpret the works. The judges raised targeted questions about the scientificity, advancedness, and realistic value of the works, and the contestants answered them one by one. Finally, the judges commented on the entries, put forward suggestions for modification, and scored each work according to the scoring rules.
