College History:
1958, in order to accelerate the construction of Anhui and change the situation of people in the northern Anhui area of North Anhui , the state decided to establish Bengbu Medical College by the former Shanghai Second Medical College (now Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical College ).school is now an ordinary medical school under Anhui Province. It is the first batch of national units with bachelor's and master's degree awarding authority, the first batch of national pilot universities for the education and training program of outstanding physicians, the first batch of national pilot universities for the innovation and entrepreneurship training program of college students, the first batch of national pilot universities for the reform of the postgraduate training model of clinical medicine master's degree professional degree graduate training model, the first batch of universities recommended by the Ministry of Education, the first batch of pilot units for the comprehensive reform of Anhui Province, the Anhui Provincial Academician Workstation and the postdoctoral position setting unit. There are currently 4 directly affiliated hospitals, many non-directly affiliated hospitals, and many teaching hospitals, internship hospitals and internship bases. The four directly affiliated hospitals are responsible for medical services for the Huaihe Basin and the northern Anhui region of more than 40 million people, and their service scope radiates to Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Anhui and other regions.
