PDU?

PDU is the abbreviation of Professional Development Units in English, and is translated as a professional development unit in Chinese; PDU is an assessment unit.

Participate in the activities of training institutions (including online or offline, free charges.)

You can also get a PDU during the training period. The training institutions will send PDU to the students' PMI ID. In short, obtaining PDU is not difficult.

Other ways to obtain PDU:

Obtain PDU by participating in two activities: education class and practice contribution class .

1. Educational (Note: PDUs in this category must accumulate more than 35, or directly accumulate more than 60 PDUs and directly renew the certificate)

. Course or training (including: on-site participation, virtual classroom, formal training, etc.)

. Meetings organized by enterprises (including: PMI branch, company or professional conference, can only apply for up to 2 PDUs)

If there is no renewal certificate for more than 3 years, is there no room for recovery?

In fact, the PMP certificate has one-year suspension period . For example, the validity period of your certificate is 2018.12.9-2021.12.8. Generally, renewal of certificates before 2021.12.8. However, if there is no operation for some reasons, renewal of certificates before 2022.12.8 can maintain the validity of the certificates.

Note: Regardless of whether the certificate is renewed during any valid period, the new validity period is 2021.12.9-2024.12.8, and does not extend three years from the day of renewal.
