Review of this conference, Chi Sixiao took the theme of "Traveling to the midsummer and forge ahead to the top 20" and used videos and speeches to report on the results of our college's social practice work in 2022. After the intense voting session, our college finally ranked first in the vote and was once again awarded the title of "Advanced Unit for Social Practice" in the school.

This year, our hospital thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Communist Youth League , adhered to the work idea of ​​"multi-party linkage, emphasizing characteristics, open thinking, and attaching importance to humanities", and carried out social practice activities extensively, with remarkable results - nearly 7,000 teachers and students participated in, and the service time lasted more than 40,000 hours, benefiting more than 50,000 people. It was reported 374 times by many media outlets from " Xinhuanet ", " China Youth Network ", "Southern +", " Yangcheng Evening News". Young students of the First Academy have taken root in China, received education, gained talents and contributed in vivid practice, and contributed their youthful strength to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

This report was conducted in the form of a novel "exhibition hall commentator". The five exhibition halls, "Red Footprint Exhibition Hall", "Great Doctors' Innocence and Warm Sun Exhibition Hall", "Rural Revitalization Exhibition Hall", and "Practical Work for the People Exhibition Hall" vividly record the fruitful results of young students in the first hospital in practical activities.

1. Red Footprint Exhibition Hall - Drawing the great power of progress, and also looking at the education of party history

Our hospital actively plays the role of the " Deng Tietao Iron-core Traditional Chinese Medicine Red Propaganda Team", allowing the Tietao story to enter the masses, deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and sow the red spirit spark in four provinces and nine counties. All the teams went deep into social practice locations, carried out activities such as red charity performances and red story cloud propaganda, and traced the red memories and continued the revolutionary fire; in visiting old party members and young league members, they searched for the story of the party and the spirit of courage and perseverance; thousands of students sang together to engrave the kindness of the league for a hundred years and create new people of the times; in the hand-written newspaper, they recorded the aspirations of young people, and began a dialogue between young people and the ancestors of the party and league through time and space.

2. The Great Doctors’ Integrity Exhibition Hall - The Envoys Cistanche Yuanzhi , and do not forget the original intention of studying medicine

Our teachers and students work with experts from the Affiliated Hospital to carry out free medical consultations, basic medical services and medicines for the benefit of the people, benefiting nearly 15,000 people. They use traditional Chinese medicine special diagnosis and treatment methods such as sticks, fire needles, and ear acupoints to drive away pain and bring health to local residents. With the theme of inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine, each team interviewed the national medical master Tang Zuxuan to listen to the guidance of Mr. Tang; visited the Medical Saint Temple to experience the wisdom of Zhongjing ; visited the inheritor of Yao Medical to feel the charm of national medicine through communication. The provincial key team Shaoguan Spark Team, led by Zhang Xiayi, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College, rushed to Shaoguan Zhenjiang for free medical consultation and study. All teams have carried out popular science publicity to the people more than a hundred times by producing health care manuals and conducting live broadcasts on traditional Chinese medicine diet therapy, greatly promoting the beauty of traditional Chinese medicine.

3. Children's Heart Warm Sun Exhibition Hall - Be caring about children's growth and protecting youth Chaoyang

Students of our college use their professional knowledge to protect children's physical and mental health through cloud teaching, letters, health screening and other forms.Our college has carried out the 13th weekend social practice activities, and has coordinated with many primary and secondary schools to conduct cloud teaching for more than 1,000 hours; carried out Xiaojudeng letters and sentiments, and has communicated with children in remote areas in the past ten years. Qihuang Chengxi team connected to Inner Mongolia Primary and Secondary Schools, opened a four-month online "second classroom" and won the bronze medal in the Inner Mongolia Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition; the "Zhongming Torch" project team, the Magnolia team, used care to light up the lights for special children; the Children's Park Volunteer Group continued to carry out children's growth and development health tours to protect children's health. All teams also worked with the elite team of "Strengthening Bone and Protecting the Riddle" of the First Affiliated Hospital to carry out scoliosis screening for teenagers, build a childlike dream and protect children's health.

4. Rural Revitalization Exhibition Hall - Promote the green concept of universality and create beautiful villages together

All teams of our institute went to the grassroots to carry out research, charity agriculture and other activities to observe people's sentiments, relieve people's worries, and warm people's hearts; use "sunday time" to witness rural revitalization. For 12 years, the Fuling team has insisted on low-carbon cycling, river patrol and protecting the ecological civilization of Haiou Island. Qihuang Chengqi team followed the trend and brought goods to their hometown specialties live. In addition, the three-tour-to-country short video released by various teams has a total viewing volume of 30,000 times and a likes of more than 20,000 times, leaving the students of the first college at the grassroots and villages, and expanding the influence of our college’s social practice.

5. Work hard for the people Exhibition Hall - carry forward the spirit of volunteerism and bloom the flowers of youth

Our hospital strictly implements epidemic prevention and control management, forms a youth anti-epidemic commando, and delivers nearly a thousand volunteers to the school's nucleic acid testing , vaccination, etc. Encouraged by the honor of the National Outstanding Social Practice Unit in 2021, young students of our college actively expanded their practical content, and many new volunteer figures and practice forms emerged: Panyu Fire Brigade held a popular science lecture on fire safety in Yimiao Plan; Magnolia Team actively participated in community nucleic acid testing; our college also carried out the "I do practical things for teachers and students of alma mater" practice activity of Qingma students. Off campus, Guangzhou Library, Love Station, Blood Donation Site, etc. also have volunteer footprints of students from our college. As of now, our college has won the title of "Advanced Unit for Social Practice" at the school level for six consecutive years.
