On August 18, 2022, our Bagui little reporter came to Minsheng Bank to learn the history of red finance.
After listening to the leader’s speech, he started telling red stories! There are two stories, among which my favorite is "Grandpa's Pole".
In 1933, "my" great-grandfather led a special team to help the Red Army transport supplies. This team carried poles on their shoulders. What they carried in the burden were not guns and ammunition, but gold bars, silver dollars, and Treasures of all kinds.

Just when I thought Grandpa would successfully deliver the supplies to the Red Army, an accident happened! When my great grandfather and more than 160 soldiers were preparing to cross the Xiangjiang River, they were bombed by enemy planes! After a while, the great grandfather shouted quickly: "Quick! Quick! Protect the basket with money!" After saying that, the great grandfather lay down on the basket, and the others also followed suit, but they only heard " With a bang, my great grandfather died heroically, leaving only half of his pole. In the end, only two people were left in the team of more than 160 people, and the task was finally completed.
Why do I like the story "Great Grandpa's Half of a Pole"? Because I think the teacher who tells the story is very passionate and the story is very vivid.
After listening to the story, we interviewed the guests and visited the "Financial Education Demonstration Base" to learn about the past, present and future of coins.
Looking back on the history of red finance, we cannot forget the contributions of our revolutionary ancestors when we are well fed and clothed now!

The content of the day's activities was very rich. Liang Chanyuan's short note focused on the most exciting part of the event - the red financial story "Grandpa's Half of a Pole", which was well-targeted. The retelling of the story is very vivid, but the wording in the original manuscript is often illogical and unsatisfactory, and Liang Xiaoji mistakenly said that the enemy troops who bombed the transport team were Japanese troops.
Therefore, journalists must carefully check and treat the manuscript carefully before submitting it, otherwise it will be easy to make a joke!
