In order to better respond to the people’s expectations for high-quality education, to promote Songjiang education at a higher level to “strengthen the foundation, build the plateau, and climb the peak”, during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Songjiang will focus on building first-class High school clusters, the introduction and construction of three experimental demonstration high schools, including cooperation with Shanghai Foreign High School to host Songjiang Yunjian Middle School, cooperation with China Normal University to introduce the Songjiang Branch of the Second Affiliated High School of China Normal University and the master of Large cooperated to introduce the Songjiang branch of the municipal experimental demonstration high school.
While making every effort to introduce and do a good job of increment, it must also organically update and increase the stock. Songjiang implemented the reconstruction and expansion project of Songjiang No. 2 Middle School and Songjiang No. 1 Middle School to support the establishment of high schools with municipal characteristics by the Foreign High School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University. By the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Songjiang will have 9 high schools, including 5 municipal experimental demonstration high schools, and 1 or 2 municipal high schools, which will continue to meet Songjiang people's expectations for the city's key high school resources.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Songjiang New City will build 30 new schools, and the layout of educational resources will be more complete. Songjiang Education will uphold the new development concept, stimulate school vitality, innovate education and teaching management, focus on cultivating students' innovation and creativity, and build a group of basic education "future schools" that adapt to development trends and are full of vitality.
In order to solve the problem of children aged 0-3, Songjiang District is actively promoting the integration of nursery and kindergarten. In principle, kindergartens must be opened for new and expanded kindergartens, and public kindergartens that have not yet opened nursery classes should actively create conditions Add kindergartens to realize the full coverage of public kindergartens and kindergartens integrated in the streets and towns. The total number of public (private) kindergartens where the integrated kindergartens are located shall not be less than 50%.Within five years, the district plans to add more than 1,000 nursery school degrees.
To meet the needs of vocational education, Songjiang will establish two new higher vocational colleges to promote the in-depth integration of production and education, and better serve the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and a new round of new city development and construction.
