Li Dongwen has been the principal of Shaoshan Art Kindergarten for 16 years. She spent a lot of time thinking and established a series of systems to make the art Kindergarten a "beautiful garden" in the eyes of parents, a "school" for teachers to improve, and a "park" for children to love. By 2020, Shaoshan Art Kindergarten has received great attention in the preschool education community across the province and even across the country. It has been recognized by the Provincial Department of Education as a "provincial base park for teacher training" and "Hunan Province Basic Education Brand Training Plantation". In the second semester of 2020, Li Dongwen was once again entrusted with an important task by the Municipal Education Bureau to serve as the principal of Furong School.
For more than two years, she has been the principal of Furong School. She has focused on establishing and improving various schools' systems and attaches importance to the construction of the teacher team. Li Dongwen likes to listen to classes in depth, carefully record the advantages and shortcomings of teachers in teaching, communicate with them after class, and select good teaching experiences to promote them throughout the school to promote common progress of teachers throughout the school.
Li Dongwen believes that listening to teachers’ in-class classes can master the most real, accurate, timely and richest classroom teaching first-hand information , more comprehensively understand school teaching routines, understand teachers’ teaching level and existing problems, and more effectively put forward guiding opinions, help teachers develop faster and better, and promote the improvement of the overall level of school education and teaching.
Li Dongwen often invites education experts from both inside and outside the province to hold lectures at the school. The advanced concepts and new methods brought by experts refresh the teachers. In the face-to-face communication with experts and scholars, the teachers broadened their horizons, inspired their spirits, and their teaching level was qualitatively improved.
Li Dongwen also actively promoted Furong School to sign a pairing assistance agreement with Hunan First Normal University , and carried out professional training, and exchanges and seminars with famous teachers same courses and categories for nine major subjects and categories. A total of 11 activities were organized in two years, effectively promoting the improvement of teachers' professional level.
Under the leadership of Li Dongwen, the teachers of Furong School devoted themselves to teaching and educating people, and the teaching quality continued to grow. Some teachers have won awards in competitions at all levels. Some of the school has passed the intermediate acceptance and some have entered the implementation stage.
