1. Chinese excellent traditional culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation. Education for Chinese excellent traditional culture is of great significance to "who to cultivate". The Ministry of Education has always attached great importance to the education of China's excellent traditional culture, guided students to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and strengthened cultural confidence.
1. Strengthen the design of the education system for excellent traditional Chinese culture. In 2021, the Ministry of Education developed and issued the " Guide to the Curriculum Textbook for Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture into Primary and Secondary Schools" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines"), which coordinated the implementation of the requirements for Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture and Education in primary and secondary school curriculum textbooks, and clarified the basic principles, overall goals, main content, carrier form, stage and subject requirements, etc. The primary and secondary school curriculum has formed a "3+2+N" discipline structure arrangement with the unified three subjects as the main body, art (music, fine arts, etc.), sports and health disciplines with emphasis, and other disciplines are organically penetrated.
2. Organically integrate into the excellent traditional Chinese education with the focus on Chinese language, morality and rule of law (ideology and politics), history and other disciplines. In order to implement the requirements of the "Guidelines", compulsory education and general high school curriculum textbooks further strengthen the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture. In 2022, the Ministry of Education revised and issued the compulsory education curriculum plan and curriculum standards. Among them, the main carriers of the theme of "Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture" in Chinese are Chinese characters, calligraphy, traditional festivals, etc.; morality and law encourage schools to carry out exchanges and display activities such as traditional festivals, clothing, architecture, etc., so that students can understand my country's splendid culture; history focuses on cultivating students' sense of identity with China's excellent traditional culture by letting students understand the oracle bone inscriptions , Dujiangyan project, "Four Great Inventions", etc.; art guides students to appreciate Chinese folk art works such as paper cutting, shadow puppetry , New Year pictures; sports and health specially set up the "Chinese Traditional Sports Sports" course content; physics guides students to understand ancient bronze and iron manufacturing technology in my country and its role in promoting social progress. The current unified Chinese textbooks are compiled with famous works such as "Three Character Classic", "The Rules of Disciples", and "The Analects of Confucius"; the moral and legal textbooks are quoted with ancient classics such as " Book of Rites ", "Xunzi", " Aphorisms Joint " to guide students to strive to study hard from an early age; the history textbooks are introduced and quoted with "Historical Records" and " Han Shu ", etc., to cultivate students' ability to read historical materials. Ordinary high school Chinese language integrates the content of excellent traditional Chinese culture into compulsory, selective and elective; ideological and political courses guide students to learn to view traditional culture dialectically. The textbooks guide students to firmly believe in the " four self-confidences " by quoting the allusion of "learning to walk in Handan, losing their original actions"; the art compulsory courses require understanding of the modeling language, creative concepts and cultural connotations of excellent traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting and folk art , and be able to be comprehensively used; the physics compulsory courses allow students to understand the understanding and application of magnetic phenomena in ancient my country and its impact on human civilization.In addition, the comprehensive practice activity of primary and secondary schools courses recommends theme activities such as "Our Traditional Festivals" to enhance students' practical experience in education of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
3. The key textbooks of Horse Engineering are organically integrated into the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture. In the key textbooks of the Ministry of Education's Horse Engineering, such as "History of Ancient Chinese Literature", " History of Chinese Aesthetics ", and "History of Chinese Opera", the origin, development and historical context of China's excellent culture are systematically explained from different angles such as history, literature, and aesthetics, and fully reflect the rich connotation and valuable experience of China's excellent traditional culture.
4. Include the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the college entrance examination. In 2014, the State Council issued the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System", which clearly stipulated that the Chinese, mathematics, and foreign language subjects of the unified college entrance examination remain unchanged and the scores remain unchanged. The current foreign language unified examination arrangements are determined in accordance with the central government’s top-level design for the college entrance examination reform.
