I received some feedback from some friends that it is fine to make one or two pictures, but it will not work if there are a little more. Even the second one will have a problem. When this problem occurs, it is usually enough to restart PS. Some friends also reported that when using the Al neural network filter, the memory occupies a lot, and even directly fills up.
To sum up, we can basically draw a conclusion that the filter failure caused by the memory itself is disabled due to the small amount of memory. The reason why I just restarted is that the occupied memory has been released to a certain extent, so I can do it after restarting.
- [Solution]
The first solution: increases physical memory and adds larger memory sticks.
The second solution: can try to expand virtual memory. The specific settings are as follows:
(01). Right-click on the desktop [This computer] - [Properties], click [Advanced System Settings] in the pop-up window,
(02). Click [Settings] in the [Performance] column in the newly pop-up [System Properties - Advanced] window,
( 03). Click the [Advanced] option in the newly popped [Performance Options] window, then click [Change]
(04) in the [ Virtual Memory ] column. Uncheck the [Automatically manage paging file sizes for all drives] option in the newly popped [Virtual Memory] window,
(05). Click to select the C drive option, then click [No paging file], then click [Settings],
(06). When encountering the [System Properties] warning pop-up window, just select [Yes]. You can see that the C drive has changed from [hosted system] to [None],
(07). Then click to select D drive or other drive letters with relatively large space, then click to check [System Management Size],
(08). Then click [Settings], you can see the selected drive letters From [None] to [Hosted System],
(09). Finally, click [OK], and when you encounter a pop-up window, click [OK] directly,
(10). Click [Apply] in the [Performance Options] window, then click [OK],
(11). Click [OK] in the [System Properties] window, and when you encounter a pop-up window, select [Reboot now] or [Reboot later] yourself.
This not only changes the default C disk of virtual memory to other disk letters, but also solves the problem that C disk will be full when some programs are running, but also manually expands the virtual memory, providing greater utilization space for the program to run, reducing the problem of crashes or failures at any time.
Of course, when selecting D disk or other disk letters in step (7), you can also check [Custom Size], fill in [Initial Size] and [Maximum Value] according to the recommended value displayed below, or fill in by yourself according to your computer situation. The maximum value of virtual memory of
is generally set to 2-3 times the memory stick size, and the minimum value is the initial value of the memory. If the minimum value is set to 2046 and the maximum value is 4092, this is the maximum value currently supported by computers, and so on.
