All models and configurations of Apple 's latest iPad are still available for pre-order and shipped on time by October 26, 2022, but buyers must wait for Apple Pencil, adapter and Magic Keyboard Folio. Apple's new 10th-generation iPad, plus the updated 11-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, can be pre-ordered before its release on October 26. Unlike many of Apple's recent launches, such as the iPhone 14 Pro and the M2 MacBook Air, none of these models have been postponed yet.

However, Apple's accessories products for iPad are both put off by Apple: Magic Keyboard Folio and the updated first-generation Apple Pencil.

Magic Keyboard Folio is specifically for the 10th-generation iPad, and it costs $249, and Apple currently says it will ship to customers "within 1-2 weeks."

Since the interface of the tenth-generation iPad was replaced with USB-C, and the first-generation Apple Pencil is still the Lightning interface, Apple's latest iPad needs an adapter to charge the first-generation Apple Pencil. For new iPad users, Apple has redesigned the Apple Pencil to provide the adapter in the package, while for older users who already have the first generation of Apple Pencil, they need to purchase the adapter separately.

separate adapters and adapters bundled with Apple Pencil are now available for pre-order, but Apple says shipment time is "2-3 weeks".

It is not clear how many of these accessories or new iPads are produced by Apple. It is possible that it has produced enough iPads to meet early demand, but did not expect these accessories to sell as well.
