Intel appears to be preparing at least 22 new 13th-generation Raptor Lake desktop CPUs, which Gigabyte reveals in its Z790 board's CPU support list. Intel will launch its new Raptor Lake K-series CPU next week on October 20. While the initial lineup only includes "K" or lock-free SKUs, there are plans to launch mainstream and budget-level chips under each section.
So, in addition to the six SKUs that will be launched next week, Intel has at least 16 13th Generation Raptor Lake CPUs planned to be launched in the next few months and will be backed by 600 Series and 700 Series motherboards.
Z790 AORUS MASTER CPU support list:
starts from bottom to top, which is the number of derivative models for each of the new Raptor Lake series.
i3-13100 = 3
i5-13400 = 3
i5-13500 = 2
i5-13600 = 4
i7-13700 = 5
i9-13900 = 5
In the listed CPU, the low-end processor of Raptor Lake uses H0 steps, but the stronger the processor, the more we can see the mixed step of the B0 and C0 molds in this series. Power is between 35W and 125W, which is not new, as Alder Lake's i9-12900KS processor has already broken through this barrier to reach 150W. The new CPU will also increase the L3 cache to 36MB.
There was once an Intel CPU only sold in the Chinese market. The process is the Intel generation Core i5-12490F, which features two molds, such as the B0 and C0 mold stepping, similar to the taller Raptor Lake processor.
Intel Raptor Lake series' non-K series and T series processors have not been announced yet, and the B760 and H770 series' motherboard configurations are lower and the cost is lower. Intel's 13th Generation Raptor Lake desktop CPU, including the flagship Core i9-13900K, is expected to be launched on the Z790 platform in October. These CPUs will be against the AMD's Ryzen 7000 CPU lineup, which will also be launched in fall 2022.
