The new 6.7-inch non-Pro "iPhone 14 Max" may be available in smaller quantities than some other iPhone 14 models, according to screen shipment and production estimates provided today by display industry analyst Ross Young.
Between June and September, the iPhone 14 Pro Max had the highest share of panel production, accounting for 28% of shipments. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro follow closely with 26% each, and iPhone 14 Max only has 19%. Production figures are similar, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max accounting for 29% of production and the 14 Max accounting for 21%.
It is said that iPhone 14 Max display panel shipments will take up a large share in September, suggesting that any initial supply issues at launch should be resolved quickly.
