Huawei MatePad Pro is the company's flagship tablet. The original model debuted at the end of 2019, while the 5G model was released in the first half of 2020. Now, more than a year later, Huawei is expected to launch its next-generation HUAWEI MatePad Pro2. This high-end tablet computer is now in the plan of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Huawei MatePad Pro 5G
The upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 2 with model WGR-AN19 (code name: Wanger) has been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. However, there is neither an image of the product nor a complete specification in the list. But it does confirm some of its functions. The device also appeared on the 3C certification earlier.
According to the list, Huawei MatePad Pro 2 will support SA/NSA 5G connections. Most importantly, the listing shows that it will run HarmonyOS (Hongmeng system). Huawei MatePad Pro 2 will be the first device to use HarmonyOS out of the box.
According to industry insiders, this upcoming tablet will be supported by Kirin 9000 SoC. In addition, it will be available in two sizes-12.2 inches or 12.6 inches. It is a bit bigger than Huawei MatePad Pro, which has a smaller 10.8-inch screen.
But I am not sure if the screen is O LED or LED screen, although its previous generation is equipped with LCD screen. Therefore, the next generation is likely to be equipped with LED screens, but the refresh rate will be higher, which is a feature that the previous generation of board computers lacked. Similarly, we cannot rule out the possibility of OLED displays.
