Huawei Mate40E has been launched on Huawei's official website. This phone has the same appearance as Mate40. There are two main differences, one is the processor and the other is the main rear camera. Mate40E starts at 4599 yuan (8+128GB), Mate40 starts at 4999 yuan, and the entire series of Mate40E is 400 yuan cheaper.
Huawei Mate40E is equipped with Kirin 990E. This chip adopts the A76 architecture and consists of two large cores with a main frequency of 2.86GHz, two cores with a main frequency of 2.36GHz, and four small cores with a frequency of 1.95GHz. The overall performance is still weaker than the Kirin 990, and the Antutu runs more than 400,000 points.
Another change of Huawei Mate40E is that the rear main camera has the IMX700Y used by Mate40 replaced with a 64 million rear main camera. There is no change in other places from Mate40.
To summarize. Huawei's Mate40 series has been out of stock for a long time. As everyone knows, the Mate40E has regressed in performance and photography. Kirin 990E can't compare with Kirin 9000E in performance.
