IT Home December 1st news, Nvidia and AMD have released new generation flagship graphics cards, but neither RTX 4090 nor RX 7900 XTX supports the latest PCIe 5.0 connections. According to the latest news from foreign media prohardver, Nvidia and AMD will introduce PCIe 5.0 support on the mid-range models released next year.

It is reported that AMD will support PCIe 5.0 connections on its Navi33 GPU, while Nvidia will support PCIe 5.0 on the AD106 GPU. This means that the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 series graphics cards released next year will be the first to use PCIe 5.0. Since PCIe 5.0 doubles bandwidth compared to PCIe 4.0, the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 graphics cards should adopt the PCIe 5.0*8 channel design.
IT Home learned that mainstream graphics cards such as RTX 4060 and RX 7600 graphics cards may be released at the Taipei Computer Show mid-next year.
