Provide employees and classmates with free RATs (rapid antigen detection) to help detect and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

You just need to bring your student ID to apply for Access Card, and then find the vending machine closest to you and you can collect it! You can test twice a week, and each person can receive up to 8 RATs per month.

Note: If you feel uncomfortable, please do not go back to campus directly and find a friend to collect it on your behalf.

Note: Each student/employee only corresponds to one Access Card. Once lost, please go to any of the collection points in the picture below to report the loss and receive the reissue card. The lost card will be cancelled.

Step 2: Please find the vending machine nearest to you on campus.

There are four locations on the Parkville campus to provide vending machines: Union House, 757 Swanston St, FBE Building and David Penington Building.

The vending machine on the Southbank campus is located in The Hub.

Step 3: After swiping your Access Card, please select the item number on the numeric keypad of card reader .

Step 4: Receive the RATs of your choice.

Vehicle Opportunities provide rapid antigen testing of two different brands, both of which are nasal swab tests approved by Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration, and there is no substantial difference in the test results.

In addition to the above-mentioned vending machines, RATs and P2 masks can be collected on every campus of the University of Melbourne.
